Elverina lives alone in an apartment in a small town. She has a dog named Roger who always accompanies her to sleep at home. This afternoon the office where she worked was busy talking about a serial killer on the loose. She went to sleep because today was very tiring for her.
In the middle of the night Elverina was awakened by a sound like water droplets.
"Pluk pluk pluk pluk" - the dripping sound continues to be heard in the silence of the night. Elverina checked the faucets in the kitchen, bathroom and elsewhere but couldn't find the source of the drip. She went back to sleep putting her hand under the bed for Roger to lick. Roger could make her feel comfortable and safe. She fell asleep again letting the dripping sound.
The next day she opened the closet to choose clothes to go to the office. How shocked she was to find Roger killed and hung upside down beside her white suit. The dripping sound came from Roger's blood dripping onto her cupboard.
On Roger's hanger was a small note that read "In fact, I made you more comfortable than your dog".
She was terrified, would she be the next murder victim?
