Upsetting News

The next morning

Y/N's pov:

I yawn and stretch. No school today due to the incident. "Y/N!" I hear my father call. That's unusual, he usually gets one of the butlers to come and wake me up. I get up in my pajamas and quickly head downstairs. My father is in our large living room. He's currently watching the news. I sit on the sofa next to him. I begin watching it as well.

"This is Nadja Chamack live from the news station. A boy called Le Chien Kim was found dead in a hospital. His body was found at around four o'clock in the morning. Witnesses state that four visible claw marks were on his neck with blood trickling down them. They suspect that the boy had been murderd around 12 o'clock at night. Some people believe an animal broke into the hospital and killed the boy but there are so far no traces of any animal entry. Police have been seen investigating the murder and an officer claimed that he believes it's not an animal that killed Kim but a hybrid, because only an animal with claws like a lion's could cause them scratch marks but it had to be a humanoid like creature to be able to open the window with such care. The question is..... where is this 'thing' now and is it a human or an animal.... or both?"

I was stunned after watching it. So, Kim's dead now. I sigh sadly. I feel really bad for him and his parents. His parents must be devastated. He didn't deserve this. Nobody does. My father places a hand on my shoulder. "Was that lad one of your classmates?" he asks. I nod. He pulls me into a hug. "I'm sorry you had to watch that." he says. I hug him back. A tear falls from one of my eyes. Poor Kim.....

Juleka's pov:

Me and Luka had just watched the news. They've announced Kim's death. Luka hugs me. "I'm sorry about your classmate." he says. I huff, annoyed. I guess I have to act sad. I hug Luka back. At least Kim's out of the way of mine and Y/N's love. Our mother comes in. "I'm so sorry ya had to watch that. Yer school jest sent me an email, Jule." she says. She shows is the email.

Dear Students,

Today, we have just lost one of our fellow pupils because of a murderer. Kim was killed by an unknown person or creature. There will be no more school for about 3 weeks now due to police investigation. Apparently, the police think the same person that killed Mr Le Chien is the same person that hit his head with something heavy a few days earlier. We are all deeply saddened about Mr Le Chien's death. However he will continue to live in our hearts forever. Stay safe students.

After I read the email, Luka and mom hugged me. "We're so sorry about your classmate, Jules." they say. I act deeply sad. My mind wonders to Y/N. I wonder how she reacted to Kim's death.

Y/N's Pov:

After watching the news and getting comforted by my father, I decided to stay in my room. I'm currently drawing to try and take my mind off of what happend. Suddenly, I get a text.

Over Text

CuteShyGirl : U okay?

Me : Not really

CuteShyGirl : You seen what happened to Kim?

Me : Yes..

CuteShyGirl : I know it's hard but Kim will always been in our hearts. I'm here for you if you need me.

Me : Thanks Juleka

CuteShyGirl : I'll always be here for you, Y/N

Me : Thankyou. Ever since I moved here a few days ago, you've made me feel very welcomed, Juleka.

CuteShyGirl : No problem. You derseve happiness

Me : Thx. Your such a great friend. Don't tell Adrien I said that or he'll get jealous.

CuteShyGirl : Don't worry, I won't tell Adrien>

Me : Thanks again

Back to real life

I smile and turn my phone off. Juleka's such a good friend. We've only known each other a few days but it's like we've known each other for years. It's like she's kinda repaying me for helping her on that question on my first day. I hope we do become best friends in the future.
