Waleed's POV
Two weeks ago, Dalia and I went to the beach. Probably the most calming outing I have had in years really. The innocence in Dalia's eyes, is something I could live for forever. She was a mix of both freaky and innocent. I know that just by those eyes.
I recall Dalia's words when we were at the beach. She wants a beach wedding and who am I to not do that for her? I want to give this woman everything. I'll remove all the queens on this planet and put her instead of them.
I get up and check the timetable to see if Dalia has a class, I know I formed her timetable but I continue to forget the classes.
Hey, I run the whole school here.
I walk over to Dalia's classroom and notice her door open, but I can hear her voice explaining mathematics to the first grade children.
I lean against the wall next to her door and listen.
"Okay, you have one cup here, if I am adding five more cups. How many cups do we have in total?"
"Six!" The children say in union.
It makes me chuckle. She is revising their material before the winter break exams. The sound of children understanding and her voice together, I can just imagine her with our children.
"You guys are right! Let's do multiplication. We have five minutes left for the class." She tells them.
I head over to the staff room to not creep Dalia out if she sees me, so I check out what's going on in the staff room.
A bit of chitter chatter takes place, sounding more like a soft buzz. Smiles come my way and I return them warmly.
I decide to make myself a latte and look at the choices. I find a red velvet latte sachet and decide to make that one. I empty it into my cup and add the hot water to it, making sure to mix it very well.
I walk back to Dalia's classroom and see that the students have left already.
Five minutes passed already?
"Hey, Dals." I smile, walking inside and taking a sip of my latte and close the door behind me.
"Walood!" She sees me and gives me a hug, almost dropping my latte.
I laugh and hug her back, placing my cup on a desk and hug her tightly.
"You missed me that much?" I smile and peck the top of her head.
She nods into my chest and squeezes me.
My heart warms up, Dalia finds comfort in me.
"Aww, I missed my baby too."
"Marry me." She mumbles into my chest, and my entire body feels like it being filled with hot water.
In a good way, of course.
I grab her jaw gently with my hand so she looks up at me and I meet her eyes.
"If you want us getting married today, I will make it happen. You just say the damn word."
"I want to put me and you first, and fuck that psychotic bitch that calls herself my mother. Come home with me today and we tell her together we want the wedding next week. I don't want to wake up alone anymore, I want to wake up next to you."
I look at her stunned. She has always been nervous to bring up stuff to her mother. Seeing Dalia like this makes me so proud.
"Fuck, Dalia. Of course we can do that. Do you want to tell her we are coming over?" I ask her, as much as I want her to stand up like that, I don't want her to get into trouble with her mum.
