Crunch and creak the floorboards scream
As I try to escape this dreadful nightmare
Scuff and scratch goes the pitch black cat
As I trip on it's tail
Boom and bash goes the weather outside
As I walk the stairwells
Squeak and squawk the birds they mock me
As I gaze out the windows
Hoot and howl goes the wolves and owls
As the rope dangles back and forth
Pitter and patter sings the rain
As I wallow in pain
Splish and splash my once siblings play in puddles
As I wish I wasn't so insanley troubled
Squish and squelch goes the thickest mud
As I trudge through it in boots
Slip and slide goes the tears down my face
As I stand in the middle of the field
I believe that I should be erased
I kneel and crumble
I feel like I have no purpose
Is any of this even worth it
I'm barely breathing
I'm hardly holding on
I fall on the ground
And all is silent
All is sound
