Chapter 9 new friends?

So after I left the ice palace and saying bye to everyone I'm heading to a land that's part of ahm the kingdom of Night Rose but has nothing built there so a perfect place to ummm explore yes explore

In a land that is nothing but trees and open space a red ball of energy lands in a open field causing a small crater to form and making a huge bang which scared all the wildlife nearby 

"*(0~0) her face* oops I meant to slow down... dang it! I wanted to explore quietly and NOT disturb the wildlife just my luck *sighs (T^T)* I'll just get walking then" Jessica said in a disappointed voice then she started to walk forward watching the life that resides here till she comes across some people that change her life forever

<stop stop! Don't tell me that! I was supposed to find new people or things without my skills that's why I turned them off oh well let's see who they are>

Then in a clearing sat three people on logs around a fire one very old guy that look the age of 80 and had a white beard but was bald and had is eyes shut but seemed to be able to see just fine and he had a grey staff with a one end shaped like a hammer then to his left sat a girl that look the age of 25 with sapphire blue eyes and hair to match and she wore black pants and shirt that was cover in a silver plate armor and had a sword next to her resting against the log she was sitting on then to the left sat a young boy the youngest of the group by looks by a little bit he looked the age of 20 and he had light brown hair with emerald green eyes and wore black a green shirt with brown pants and shoes with a red cape clips to the shirt and he had a aura of Superiority surrounding him unlike the others then something caught the attention of the group but the young man he seemed to have sensed the individual who's shaking the brush and that leaked no aura but it seemed to slightly surprise the old man but made the girl jump up from her log and unsheathe her blade and pointed it towards the rustling bushes and shouted

"Come out! Who are you and what do you want!?" ???? Said then out stepped a girl that looked the age of 15 to 16 with red eyes and dark brown hair and wore a brown cloak that didn't have a hood and wore a black shirt and pants that where mostly covered by the cloak and had on black shoes and she wore a bright grin but her eyes were analyzing there every movement then she stopped and everything was silent till the unknown individual spoke

(I decided to change out my god class clothes even though I think there stronger than that thanks to my partner oh well I decided to go more casual and were a cloak oh how nostalgic just like my first time adventuring, but who are this people one of them the old man is probably the best blacksmith in this known universe if given the right material's then the girl she seems pretty strong she could beat one of those tiger things easily then to the most impressive person the boy he's strong for a human to detect me but a strong monster can easily defeat him and he seems to be a monk Hmm I should introduce myself) " whoa there lower that blade of yours lady I mean no harm I was just wandering until I stumbled across your group oh by the way my name is Jessica and can I sit down? *points at the unoccupied log*" Jessica said then surprisingly the girl wasn't the one to answer it was the boy 

" yeah sure I can't sense any I'll intent from you so go ahead *he gestured to the log* oh and by the way my name is Grant" Grant said 

"*sigh* normally I would be outraged by his quick trust of you but I've known him long enough to know that his judgment is mostly always right the name is Neela" Neela said with a smile 

{I wanted her name to mean something so here is what it means and where it's from (-3-)-author Neela. Origin: Hindi, Sanskrit. Meaning: "sapphire blue}

"Hohoho Then I should probably introduce myself my name is Karoon" Karoon said introducing himself

{this means maker in Indian,Sanskrit -author}

While sitting down on the log next to the fire " well it's nice to meet you Neela,Karoon and Grant I would be glad to get more acquainted with your group if that's fine with all three of you?" Jessica said while smiling 

" sure that's fine right guys?" Grant said which both Karoon and Neela nodded in agreement

"Great that's nice too hear so what's a group like you no offense if I caused any doing out hear this far away from any type of civilization?" Jessica said in a slightly curious tone which Grant chuckled 

" oh well that's personal and why we got together let's just say we known each other for a long time and got in the same predicament and well hear we are"Grant said then Neela spoke up and asked a question 

"Our turn to ask what are you doing  here and how did you even sneak up on us I can sense someone trying to hide a couple miles away so just how di-" Neela said but was interrupted by Jessica 

" *giggles* that's a secret ok I'm not just going to give that up and as to why I'm here I just wanted to explore" Jessica said with a 'what do you expect' voice which cause Karoon to chuckle 

"My my I think we will get along just fine, why don't you join us I don't see any problem with having another member tag along" karoon said and seemed to look at the other two sense he hasn't open his eyes at all

(Is he using a skill to see? Probably an enhanced version of magic sense he's pretty skilled in other departments as well nice) Jessica thought 

" I would love to have another person to talk with so I don't mind if she tags along if she's fine with it first anyways" Grant said

"Fine I guess another girl to talk to is nicer than being stuck with a group of boys" Neela said while turning her head to the side 

"Hey what's that supposed to mean!" Grant said

"It means what you think it means" Neela said and they both glared at each other and couldn't help but laugh causing Karoon to chuckle and Jessica to laugh as well

(W-what's this feeling is this true happiness oh I see I think I'm getting found of these humans even though we just met moments ago I really hope we can become friends) Jessica thought while  letting out a true and genuine smile of happiness Then after laughing and chatting about what they say in the forest and what they thought the world was like for a few hours they noticed the fire starting to die out and then Grant said

" oh look how much time goes by when having fun well let's go home oh right Jessica we have a house here in the forest you want to come and stay with us for a while we can make a room for you so you don't have to worry about that alright" Grant said with a smile

"I honestly would love too so let's get going shall we" Jessica said then stood up and waited for the others to get ready and lead the way

"Alright let's get going we'll get there in no time" Grant proclaimed proudly 

Then they set off into the forest like the friends they grew to be that fateful day and awoke Jessica's heart to the happiness of friendship however this world is unfair and a dark past is coming to haunt the group and open Jessica's heart to a new emotion despair
