Chapter 10 rage

After what  seemed like hours of walking in the woods the group came across a clearing with a log cabin in the middle of the clearing and next to the log cabin seemed to be a outdoor forge

"Here we are! This is our home!" Grant said cheerfully which slightly embarrassed Neela but she didn't let it show

"So Grant where do you have in mind for her room? because we still need to build it sense we weren't expecting company" Neela said with a hint of irritation but that was to be expected 

"Um I don't mind helping I can get the wood needed for the build if you want?" Jessica said offering to gather the materials for her own room which caused Karoon to chuckle a little 

"My my aren't you just excited to help? Well I know you asked them but it should be fine just go cut down some trees a few miles from here ok? We don't want people knowing where here  right now." Karoon said at first with a cheerful tone then a very serious tone while stroking his beard to which Jessica just nodded and went of to  gather  some wood

(That's strange what secret do they have? Why do they want no one to know where they  live hmmm oh well I'll worry about that later!) Jessica thought while flying away

Back at the  cabin the group enters the cabin and sit around a wooden table to discuss about their new roommate until she returns 

"WHAT  THE HELL WHERE  YOU THINKING GRANT!?!" Neela shouted with a red face "you know we are in hiding and you just comprise our hiding spot by inviting a random stranger to live here with us are you trying to get us found out!?" Neela said in anger while Grant responds calmly and Karoon stays silent 

"Look I know we can trust her alright I couldn't sense her thoughts anyways it was like I was being blocked by an unknown force so she is most likely stronger than us three combined and yet she didn't do anything and when we invited her to stay she seemed genuinely happy to and I think it's better to have her protect us if we are found than going on the run again ok" Grant said while glaring at Neela which she just looked down and nodded in agreement however Karoon spoke up

"I trust her but who is she no WHAT is she? I don't think she's human due to the impact and aura we felt earlier and a little bit after it disappears she shows up I think that's no coincidence" Karoon said with his brows furrowed 

" I agree but we shouldn't delve into this any further for now and we can probably ask her herself  but sense she'll probably be back any minute now we should drop it and act like we where cooking dinner the whole time got it?" Grant said to which the other two just nodded in agreement and started to prepare for dinner then the sound of grass being stepped on was heard then the door opened reviling Jessica standing in the doorway with five whole trees on the ground in front of the cabin 

" welcome back we were just preparing dinner for everyone" Neela said with a smile

" umm cool so I brought five logs because I think it should be enough to build a room I'll let you decide where to put it" Jessica said and went to the table and sat down the Karoon went outside to start building 

"Umm does he decide oooor?" Jessica asked confused sense they didn't say anything 

"Yeah pretty much he's probably going to build it next to Neelas room" Grant said while chopping up some vegetables 

"Ok then well I can't wait to see what  you guys are making!" Jessica said with a smile

Time skip-few hours later

"Dinners done!" Grant said while putting four bowls of meat and vegetable soup

"Looks grate" Jessica said while digging in then Neela sat down and did the same as did Grant the a few minutes later Karoon came in and sat  down and dug in as well
