Hunter and Annabelle continued looking for Ben and Mal. Hunter knew about the fight, thanks to Annabelle, but he could tell her that something is bothering her. "Annabelle, is something bothering you?"

"No, baby." She says. "Why would you ask that?"

"Because of how quiet you are and the throwing up."

"I'm thinking for one. Two, I ate a bad apple before leaving."

Hunter stopped them and looked at her. "What are you thinking about, Annabelle?"

"The gates." She tells him. "These people here deserve a second chance." 

Hunter couldn't believe that this woman, who he wants to ask to marry one day, is actually thinking of the people of the isle. Something she's done since day one. "There you two are." Mal says. "We have a problem."

"What problem?" Annabelle asked. 

"Ben has been kidnapped by Uma."

"Oh dear Hades." Hunter says. 

"Who's Uma?" Annabelle asked. 

"Ursela's daughter." Hunter tells her as they started walking. "My best friend, Harry, has been in love with her, but she treats him badly as she is pissed. She didn't leave this place."

"But she doesn't know my plan."

"She believes Ben is king." Evie says. "To keep you safe, you are to do as we tell you and be rotten to the core."

"That's an easy one. I'm part beast."
