Chapter 15: The Ripper

By the next morning, the snow had dissolved and vanished to nothingness as if it were never there in the first place.

Looking out the car window on your way to work with Dan, instead of a normal humid sunny day you were met with a dark and gray sky making the town look like it was straight from a old black and white movie.

After a bit of the silent drive with Dan you both had finally arrived to work, but when entering the building you were suddenly met with Mamiya.

"Dan [f/n]! You won't believe what's happening! This morning they found a bunch of dead body's and now we're having a huge meeting about it, come quick!" Mamiya exclaimed trying to get both you and Dan to hurry up.

"If we're having a meeting about it so soon, then it must be something big and gruesome..." Dan mumbling to himself, and a small twitch in his eye happened.

'Big and gruesome...' yes you worked in the first division unit, but still stuff like this always ended up putting you on edge.

The three of you silently entered the room and took a seat 'wow I've never seen a meeting with this many people in it'

Suddenly, an older man went in-front if the room and cleared his voice. "I'm sorry to unexpectedly call this meeting. As your might've heard already, this morning we have found multiple dead bodies, specifically women. Since this was so abrupt that is all the information we can give you."

The room became eerie and people began whispering to one another.

"Specifically women?"

"How bad could it be for them to give us barley to none details?"

"What's going on?"

The older man infront of the room loudly coughed out loud grabbing the peoples attention.

He then began listing off names of people who were assigned to work on said case, "and lastly Hiroki, [l/n] I'd like you both to also work on this, Hiroki you're very helpful here in the first division and [l/n] this would be good experience since you're still one of our newest members"

The meeting was concluded and everyone quickly left and went back to their daily jobs.

"Oh [f/n] we're working together, how fun" Dan said to you while you both were meeting up with the others who were also assigned to the case.

You both had arrived in some sort of alleyway, it was secluded and even more creepy with the dark weather.

"Currently there were three dead bodies of women found across the city and we suspect that they all tie into one another" an older more serious man Yamato was telling to the both of you who seemed to be in charge of the case.

You were in-front of a body covered in a white cloth. The older man threw the thin piece of cloth and you were met with the deceased body.

It looked to be a women in her mid thirties or twenty's, her throat was slit and had deep gash wounds not only there but across her whole face, her abdomen was sliced open like some sort of pig.
