The next morning, Wei ying woke up, feeling fresh and happy. He was excited and ready to continue this day, Unlike others when he would get so overly upset to not be able to wake up in Lan zhan's arms. 'What about my present? I didn't buy him anything'  Wei ying now rushed quickly inside the jingshi again to check all drawers but then he forgot he doesn't have any money on himself, not even a cent! What was he gonna do now? Earn money? how and in such a short time? Or maybe he could give him an cheap gift with no money? how??? Was that even possible? He got out of Jingshi and kept walking out. The smile no longer lasted till he felt something bump with his shoes. As he looked down, he saw rabbits, what? rabbits oh, yea lan zhan's rabbits. There were only 3 things that could calm his mind in worse situation, Lan zhan, Wangxian and his rabbits. He took one of them in his and smiled slightly. They reminded him of his husband, wasn't he a bunny too himself? but now he only had one thing exploring his mind, making him worry for an small gift. It wouldn't be fair if he gets gifted something yet have nothing to return. He can make an gift for lan zhan, but what? orr he can pluck flowers fresh and make a bouquet of flower? he again looked at the rabbit and asked him "Lil' bunny, what can I give to lan zhan?.." 

Not second later, after that sentence came many rabbits, including a black one. They clinged onto wei wuxian. They got attached to him just like Lan zhan did while living with him. Just in a distance he saw, a white male rabbit, a black male rabbit nibbling  on same carrot. Wait carrot? Who gave them carrot? Is there someone here? Did Lan Zhan come here but left? Yea possibly. He walked towards them with a smile, took the white one and kissed him on head while patting its fur. The black male stopped nibbling on carrot, was he jealous, of wei ying? or of lan zhan(white fur)? He placed the white male and they both again started nibbling at same carrot. Wei ying laughed. He sighed and looked at those rabbits, He stood up and faced the opposite direction ready to leave, as he took a step, he could already feel 3 rabbits clinging to his left leg, he continued to take another step slowly although many of them chased after him. He finally took the white annoying one, picked it up and said, "look bunny, I have to get a gift for lan zhan, If you can help then only follow me" he said and left the place. Yup ofc none followed now. 

He thought, was it worth to buy a gift with Lan zhan's money? What could he do? he could make something but what? He didnt have an plan. He could perhaps.. YES maybe he could pick up herbs and fruits for him from forests in Lan sect. He followed his way back to Cloud recesses. He must be there. As soon as he arrived there, He saw Lan zhan talking to their child, Lan sizhui. He called, "Lan zhan!" when both lan zhan and lan sizhui looked at him. Lan sizhui was a bit shocked he didn't see his father, in such a hairstyle but Lan zhan did. 

"What are you two talking about? " He asked both of them. 

"Nothing, Baba" He smiled and continued, "Do you know what special day today is?" 

"Ofcourse I do! Just because I have a weak memory doesn't mean I'll forget about my and lan zhan's anniversary

Lan sizhui giggled while wei ying looked at Lan zhan who was also staring at him with a slight smile, the happiness could be seen in him. Just at that moment there wasn't so far away our Lan xichen.
