I woke up from the birds chirp and water drops, maybe it was raining last night. I got up from my bed and get ready, I walked downstairs to meet with Ver Goldet but then I saw her talking to a guy with black hair and turquoise stripes. He doesn't seem to look like human... As I got closer he suddenly got up and raise his jade polearm, I just stood there in fear "Xiao put down your polearm, she is harmless." Said Ver Goldet. "Hmp..."Xiao then put down his polearm then disappeared in thin air 'Woah, how did he suddenly disappeared' I thought to myself, "Good morning Y/n, are you here to eat breakfast?" Ver Goldet asked "Of course I am." I said.

After I ate, I walked out of Wangshu Inn and set off to Liyue Harbor. On the way there I encounter some hilichurls, but they aren't that difficult to fight ever since that day I fell down the tree I started to train myself so I could protect myself when the guards aren't around me. I entered the gates and saw the beauty of this city 'Woah... What Xingqui had told me was true, this city is beautiful...' I gawk. Wait a minute, what was I going to do again?

Oh right! I have to meet with Xingqui in Wanmin restaurant, but I guess I'll explore this place before meeting him. As I was walking I suddenly saw a girl giving discounts to the people and they were ignoring her 'Why are they ignoring her?' I thought to myself, I approach the girl "Oh hello there! Do you need someone to help for a family, friend or relatives funeral? Then you have just meet the right person, I am Hu tao the 77th director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor!" She gave me a discount then went close to my left ear "Just incase you suddenly die in the future..." Hu tao whispered creepily. "Oh! Umm thank you? I'm Y/n." I took out my hand to shake her hand she then took it with a enthusiasm "Oh you are Y/n! Xingqui sometime talked about you! While I was spying on him..." She mumbled the  last part but I heard it clearly. "Are you perhaps looking for him?" Hu tao asked I just nodded, "Follow me! I know where he is..." Said Hu tao creepily.

We walked down the path while Hu tao was saying dark jokes 'This girl kinda creep me out, but I should just ignore it and plus she is very nice to me.' I thought "And here we are!" Hu tao exclaim, I saw a boy with royal blue hair talking with a baby blue hair "Hey Xingqui!" I exclaimed. The boy looked at me then he smiled "Y/n it's so good to see you again!" He said shaking my hand "Oh Chongyun meet Y/n and Y/n meet Chongyun." Me and the boy that is called Chongyun waved at each other, "Sit here." Xingqui pointed at the chair that is next to him and as I sat there Hu tao sat down next to me, "Uhm... Y/n did you invite her?" Said Xingqui "Yes, is there a problem?" I asked with my brow raised. "Oh nothing nothing, just saying but she is the worst person to be friends with..." Xingqui whispered, I then looked at Hu tao to see her looking down with a frown "Don't say that! She is literally right beside me and also you did tell me to never talk behind someone's back and you are literally doing it." I whispered back. "Suit yourself then." He said, why is Xingqui so different now, he was way kinder and never do things like this... And to think of it, I used to have a crush on him in the past...

We hang out the rest of the day and Xingqui introduced me to another friend of his called Xiangling! She's 14 and she is so good at cooking, I have to say she is pretty impressive unlike me I can't even cook a Chicken-Mushroom skewer and I think I burned my right hand while doing that...

At the end of the day, we all said our goodbye's and went home. I was walking to Wangshu Inn when I suddenly encounter demons on the way, how am I suppose to defeat them?! I can kill a hilichurl but not a demon! I decided to run away from them instead of fighting, they soon catch up on me and surrounded me, I took out my sword but it was too late... They already stabbed me, my head start to feel dizzy and I fell down. A person came and slaughtered the demons but as I was about to say something I passed out...

I slowly open my eyes and saw amber eyes, I blinked for a moment and saw that it was Xiao healing my stomach that was stabbed through. When I was trying to get up Xiao stopped me from doing that "Stop moving, you are too weak to walk at this statement." I soon realize that I had a lot of cuts around my body, "The wound isn't healing that fast... It has to heal by itself." Xiao suddenly carried me and teleported to my bedroom, he slowly lay me down on my bed and he disappeared again. 'What the frick just happened.' Xiao suddenly came back with a kit and food "You might have to sit so I can feed you." Said Xiao.

A few months later, the wounds slowly healed and I can walk again without being carried, after I got healthy I knew I had to pay him back, but I don't know how to... 

One day I walked downstairs and asked Ver Goldet about something "Ver, how do I pay Xiao back, because I don't know how to pay back an adeptus." I asked "Well Xiao doesn't really like gifts, but there is something you could offer him." Said Ver Goldet, "What do I have to offer him?" I asked "He doesn't really like human food but he does like almond tofu." Ver Goldet answered. "You can ask the chef to make it." Said Ver Goldet "Thank you." I then walked downstairs to talked to the chef of what I owe Xiao and he agreed to me and start making it.

After he made the almond tofu, I asked him where Xiao would often be and he answered upstairs. So I walked upstairs to offer Xiao the food, "Huh... Is Xiao even here?" A voice then appeared behind me "Why are you here mortal?" that familiar raspy voice came "Oh, hey Xiao. I just want to say thank you for saving me that day and I offer you almond tofu." I hand him the plate of Almond tofu, "Hmp... Thank you I was kind of hungry..." Xiao mumbled. After he finished the food he said something "Call my name, Adeptus Xiao. I will be here when you call." Xiao then disappeared again. I just stood there confused what he meant about calling his name.
