Harry's POV

I didn't want to call her. I hate her. She's a slag. I ripped up her piece of greasy paper that she put in my pocket and threw it into my rubbish bin.

I was sick of girls that looked like barbies coming up to me and wanting to use me for sex. It was just getting out of hand.

I needed a rest. From all of it. No. I needed tea.

Bella's POV

"There." I said aloud. That was my final piece of kitchen stuff. I was pleased. My kitchen was finished. I then turned around and saw the rest of my apartment, floor unseen because of all the boxes.

I sat down on my tiled floor. This was my new home.

I loved it. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, a fire escape outside and an amazing view.

It was my home. Not a runaway home. I mean- I was running away, but that wasn't my life anymore. And my brother's here. For 5 weeks! That's good- isn't it?

Why was I even here? Was it because I wanted a new life or I just wanted to escape from-

*Just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough, just a second, we're not broken, just bent and we can learn to love again..."

My ringtone cut off my thoughts. I waded through the sea off boxes and tripped on a stack. I blindly searched for my phone and on the last ring, I got it.

Me: "Hello?"

Someone: "Hello....Bella."

Me: "Hello? Ow...Who's this?" I said rubbing my temple.

Someone: "It's just your bestest buddy in the world!"

Me: "Daffy? Oh my God! Is it really you?"

Daffy: Uh...Yeah. I think so?"

Me: "I've missed you, Daff.

Daffy: Yeah. I know. How's the apartment?

Me: "Uh, amazing! I've still got soo much to unpack though!"

Daffy: "Haha."

Me: "Oh! I forgot to tell you! I met Niall. Here. In London!"

Daffy: "Oh my Godness. You're kidding! That's really good."

Me: "I know. I was so glad to see him. I met the boys again too and Harry, this time. He's taller than I expected.

Daffy: "Really?"

Me: Yeah....I don't like having to talk to you over the phone. I'm gonna miss you being in the same town."

Daffy: "Yeah. I miss you already."

Me: "This call must be costing you heaps, Daff."

Daffy: "Yeah. But you can pay me back in Winter with lollies."

Me: "I will, don't worry!" I laughed.

Daffy: "Well, I have to see if a budgie is really blind or the family is just short-sighted. My job is so demanding." she laughed.

Me: "Aw. Bye Daff. Love you."

Daffy: "Love you too, Bells."

*Awkward silence*

Daffy: You're hanging up first.

Me: "No. I did last time."

Daffy: "Bella..."

Me: "Fine!"

I hung up the phone and tried to stand up. I failed and just fell over again. I'm really missing Daffy. I'm missing her personality, her red hair, her veterinarian job. Everything.

I had friends in school. I was known, but I only had two really close friends. Daffy and Jenna. Jenna had blonde hair and wore glasses- she was kind of the nerd of the group. After graduation she kind of drifted off and we lost contact. I heard something on Facebook about her moving to Chile and taking on a new name.

Daffy. She was the life and soul of everything. We had identical souls except for the fact that she had so many boyfriends through school. I had boyfriends in high school but we stuck together through thick and thin. Literally.

One time, I was playing the flute in my music club and Daffy hated it. I really wanted her to join, so she did. She is now an A grade clarinet player.

I miss my best friend.

I guess I'll just have to get my mind off her and unpack my loungeroom.
