Chapter 17: Confessions

Bella's POV

"And that's how Beth and I met." Louis smiled.

That was adorable. They met when the band was in Italy and they instantly hit it off. They've been together ever since.

"That's so sweet." I gushed as I cut up some mushrooms.

"He's told me that story so many times." Harry stated as he walked into the kitchen.

"And you enjoy it every time." Louis retaliated playfully.

Harry winked at me. I blushed and I think Louis saw me because he furrowed his brow.

Harry sat down at the dining table with Daffy as she was online shopping for Goat clothes.

I pulled my hair (that was down because I couldn't find a hair tie) behind my ear and I heard Louis gasp. "That was not there before!" he yelled as he pointed at my bruised skin on my neck. "And I know for a fact that that was not there the other day. And it's new!"

"Woah. You and Harry were the only ones here last night....." Daffy stated standing up.

"Oh my God! You and Harry are together!?" Louis screamed.

"W-wha-" I stuttered.

"Yes. They definitely are. I can tell." Daffy said excitedly coming over to where Louis and I were standing.

"Uh, Bella?" Harry asked moving over to me as I turned red.

"Y-yeah?" I stammered.

"I-I, um, think, uh..." he tried to explain.

Louis and Daffy were shouting and screaming and I was getting a headache.

"YES! Okay?" I shouted over them. I smiled shyly. "H-Harry and I are together."

Harry leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"This is unbelievable."

"I am so happy."

"Our plan worked!" Instantly, they froze. I could tell that they hadn't meant to say that.

"What plan?" Harry asked cutting Daffy and Louis off.

"Uh, well, I, um," Daffy started, twirling her blue hair.

"Yeah. What plan?" I asked crossing my arms.

Daffy and Louis glared at eachother.

"You."

"No, you."

"You."

"You."

"No, Louis."

"Yes, Daffy."

"Louis, I'm not doing it."

"Fine!" Louis surrendered. "You might need to sit down."

We all congregated to the lounge room and sat down on the couch.

"Daffy and I had this brilliant idea that we, uh, would get you guys together." Louis said, looking uncomfortable.

"And?" I asked.

It was Daffy's turn to speak.

"And we had, um, three, sort of, steps?"

"And they were?" Harry beckoned.

"Learn more about eachother's past, uh, go on a date and then realise how perfect you were for each other." Daffy trailed off, avoiding our gaze.

"Aw! You guys are so sweet!" I gushed hugging them.

"Thanks, mate." Harry said hugging Louis.

"So we're off the hook?" Louis asked.

"Not entirely." I said looking at Harry.

"Why? What do we have to do?" Daffy pleaded.

"Just make sure that no-one else finds out. Especially Niall." I explained.

"Deal." Daffy and Louis said in unison.

Louis' POV

We all got up off the couch and finished making breakfast. Well, Belle finished making breakfast and the rest of us chose our favourite superhero costumes for Fiction.

Then I heard a knock on the front door.

"Come in!" Bella said loudly.

"Bella!" Niall said happily as he walked in with Zayn and Liam.

"Niall? What are you doing here?" she said hugging him.

"Just came over for breakfast." he said sitting down at the table with the rest of us.

"Hey, Belle." Zayn said hugging her.

"Hello, Bella." Liam said hugging her tightly.

After about 20 minutes, Bella said, "Breakfast is served."

"Yay!" Niall yelled playfully as he stuffed himself with bacon and fried tomatoes.

"Actually, I can't stay." Zayn explained standing up. "Liam, me and Niall (he emphasized Niall) are going to look for an engagement ring."

"You're kidding?" Bella asked taking a bite of her toast.

"We are?" Niall asked, half-eaten eggs in his mouth.

"Yes, Niall." Liam laughed.

"Are you serious?" Harry smiled.

"Yeah, I am. I'm ready to take it to the next level." he said, smiling shyly, his hands in his pockets.

"Good for you, mate. Mim will be so surprised!" I said shaking his hand.

"Anyway, I'll see you guys at management tomorrow. Bye." Zayn said leading Liam and dragging Niall out of the door.

"I best be off too." I said standing up.

"Why?" Harry asked.

"I'm taking Beth out shopping." I smiled.

"Have fun." Bella said taking a sip of juice.

"I plan to." I laughed. "See you tomorrow, Harry. Bye Daffy. Bye Belle."

"Bye Lou." they all said in unison.

Harry kissed Bella on her cheek again. Even though they had only known eachother for 4 weeks, I knew that they truly loved eachother.
