~Tracy~

"Hey Mr. George" I smiled at him. "Hello miss. Tracy. And Master Christian. Can I get you anything?" He greeted and asked me. "Oh, no thank you" I said. Christian grabbed my hand and pulled me into the kitchen. He pulled out the first aid kit and tended to my injured cheek.

"Christian you don't have to do all this". "I'm not gonna let this happen. So yea, I kinda do" he responded.

"Oh! If it isn't my favorite child!" I heard Christian's mom say. "Miss. Gloria! How are you?" I said, giving her a hug. "I'm great now that you're here" she smiled. Christian rolled his eyes. "Mom, we're busy, so you can go now" he sighed. His mom came and hugged his head. "I was just kidding Christian, no need to be jealous" she laughed. "Heh, what a pain".

His mom went back upstairs.

I wish I had a mom like that. Geez. I can't even imagine myself having a mom. And us doing things like painting our nails, or dressing up together. And going to football games with my dad. Cheering on his favorite team. Being his number one fan.

Why...why can't I have that?

I noticed tears were rolling down my cheeks. "S-shit. I'm s-sorry" I stuttered. He caressed my cheek. "You don't have to be sorry". I couldn't help but hug him.

"Why are you friends with me?" I asked him during the hug. He looked down at me. "Because I like you" he said, patting my head like he always does. I blushed, knowing he didn't mean the same 'like' that I wanted him to mean. "But I'm so helpless. I'm a burden. No one-". "No. You have me. And you'll always have me." he said.

I sat there in his embrace.

"I don't wanna go back to school or the orphanage Christian. What am I gonna do? I'm done for" I said, tears forming again. "You can stay with me. For however long you need to" he said. "No. I'll never stay with you. That's freeloading". "I don't care. You're practically family. And remember, I have my own place now that I'm 18" he explained. "A-are you sure?" I asked him. "I've never been more sure".

"This is it. You like it?" He asked me.

"Do I?!" I exclaimed. I was freakin starstruck. This place was huge. Even bigger than his family's house, and that's saying something. "But...I". I was starting to second guess staying here without paying anything.

"Christian! I will not stay here if I can't pay you anything back! So you have to give me some type of work. I'll do anything you want. That's a promise!" I demanded from him.

Christian walked towards me and hugged me. "Ok then. I'll require you to always smile. Never ever doubt yourself. And if I'm not feeling well, I'll need you to be there for me...listen Tracy. Your presence is all I need, so chill" he said with a grin.

There's just no getting through this guy.
