extracurriculars i think the mighty ducks would participate in!

guy germaine: cooking club!! he's an aspiring chef and loves to add posh decorations to his dishes. connie is his main taste tester, but if she's busy with her own extracurricular, he usually finds russ because russ will be 1000% honest about the dish. he prefers baking to cooking, but cooks more often because connie has more of a craving for salt instead of a sweet tooth.

dean portman: ...he may or may not be apart of the drama club... HE REALLY LIKES ACTING, OKAY?? the drama teacher absolutely adores dean because he's always looking out for the other students since they're not the most popular at eden hall... he's also a good singer and usually is the one the girls pick to be the male lead during their improv sessions.

russ tyler: wrestling and debate club. russ has four brothers so he's used to tussling with people, and he's actually really good at it. (averman made fun of him when he was wearing the uniform once. he had the audacity to act shocked when russ pinned him to the floor.) and it wasn't russ' idea to join debate, but his history teacher's. she actually runs the team and thought he'd make a great fit!

connie moreau: tennis!! she didn't think she'd enjoy another sport besides hockey, but tennis is her jam! she adores their uniforms, and likes how feminine the sport makes her feel. connie sometimes gets overwhelmed with all the masculine energy surrounding her, so it's nice to enjoy a friendly match with other girls. (the team comes out to support her at every game. well, luis just goes to see girls in short skirts.)

kenny wu: environmental club. kenny's really passionate about the environment because he grew up in a place with a lot of pollution. normally, they get together and make cool posters about ways to recycle, or they'll pass out petitions to reduce the use of plastic in the school cafeteria. a lot of people pick on ken for his activism, but the ducks all support him. especially dwayne, even if he's not sure of what the club does.

adam banks: morning show. i'm in my school's morning show so this is a fact. he goes out to interview people with random questions like, "is water wet?" he also makes sure to get highlights from every sport during their season, and he loves to report on hockey. he's gotten asked by the bash brothers and averman to shout them out, but he declines each time.

fulton reed: astronomy club. i'm also in astronomy club, so take my word on this. when fulton was younger, his big sisters shared a telescope and taught him constellations in the sky. by the time he was five, he could point out all the major constellations and tell you their histories. he's dabbled in astrology, but he would rather stick to astronomy.

dwayne robertson: when dwayne's not on the ice, he likes to play america's favorite pastime; football. he's a wide receiver, and really enjoys playing for eden hall. their football team is actually pretty good, but due to sport popularity, they don't get that much attention because hockey is the main sport. he feels bad for his teammates, but doesn't care too much because he plays hockey anyhow. he's gotten lots of attention from cheerleaders that go to opposing schools, he just never notices.

greg goldberg: international club. goldberg grew up in philly, (this is canon in the first movie,) so he's been exposed to many different cultures. he takes pride in his jewish faith and italian culture, and usually offers to hold meetings in his family's deli. he's learning slowly how to speak japanese from a very sweet girl in the club, and will sneak russian sweets out of their meetings for julie.

luis mendoza: national honors society. to majority of the team's surprise, luis is actually very intelligent and works hard in school. there are a lot of students who simply apply to national honors society, but luis didn't really have to. his grades were high enough anyway!! he's one of the first members to volunteer for tutoring and usually has to help out a duck or two. he also enlists the help of the ducks with food drives when the holidays start.

julie gaffney: student body president😌 you best believe she campaigned her ass off in that election, beating out rick riley's younger brother and ryder ended up as her vice president. she worked on organizing school functions, petitioning for a less restrictive dress code, and advocated for the arts program!! with dances, she forced all the boys into helping set up, and promised connie free tickets if she helped make advertisements for it.

charlie conway: GSA and student council. originally, charlie joined the club as an ally, wanting to better educate himself as his mother came out as lesbian the year prior. then, he came out as bisexual and started being more active in the club. since he's captain of the hockey team, all the kids in the club are guaranteed protection and any of the ducks will defend charlie if there's a slur hurled his way. he also managed to worm his way into the role of student body secretary, working under ryder and julie, which wasn't bad at all.

jesse hall: mu alpha theta and lacrosse. it's the math national honors society, and they go to competitions around the county against other schools. not that jesse would brag, but eden hall has gone to state every year since his arrival, and he can't help but think it's because of him. jesse had the qualifications to join national honors society, but didn't want too much on his plate academically. jesse would have sworn up and down that lacrosse was for rich, white kids, and maybe it was. however, he was damn good at it and the coach knew it. he's close friends with ryder, (in fact, all the ducks are because ryder isn't anything like rick. like, at all.)

les averman: swiftie club. eden hall had a swiftie club created the year before the ducks came, and when they arrived, averman thought it was the perfect place for him to make friends. it's mainly girls, but averman doesn't mind. it actually just makes it easier to annoy the single guys on the team because he's always got a girl talking to him, even if it's about a singer. averman's favorite album in 1989, and his all time favorite song has to be "stay, stay, stay." (red isn't his favorite album, but he can't deny the bops on it!)

hi y'all. it's, uh, been a while. sorry about that. i've had this idea for a minute or two, and thought it would be an easy update.

i'm on thanksgiving break right now, so maybe we'll get new content?? don't quote me on that, i might get a kick of seasonal depression or just depression in general bc my 17th bday is tomorrow. like i will literally be 17 in 24 hours. that's so gross.
