I saw a young boy run to the lake, almost breathless, from a group of older kids. I ran over there to see what was happening as one of the boys shouted something at the boy "Why the hell did you even bother coming, you freak!"
He stepped closer getting in his face. The oldest kid grinned as he leaned in close, the kid lost balance, Randy pushed him in and down. The water muffled his screams as he sunk closer and closer to the bottom each helpless grip of the cold, dark water he grasped.
"Hey! What the heck Randy!?" I ran over to the dock and pushed Randy out of the way, trying to get to the boy "Go away you assholes!" I shouted at them, I was full of anger.
They ran off and I jumped in after the kid. He slowly started to sink to the bottom but I stayed determined, grabbing his wrist and swimming to the dock. I started preforming on him seeing that he almost drowned. After a bit he coughed up a little bit of water and shot up, breathing heavily.
I put a hand on his shoulder then helped him up "It's okay! Do you have a name..?" I asked as I comforted the scared boy.
He nodded "My name is......."
~~~~~~~~~~~Fast forward twelve years~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am [F/N] [L/N].. I was seven when the poor kid was shoved in the lake. Today is my nineteenth birthday and my friends are taking me to Camp Crystal Lake, where it all happened. My cell phone buzzed on my nightstand so I picked it up. My friend Ash was calling
"Hello....?" I asked groggily when I picked up.
She responded "Good morning lazy bones! We're coming to get you in..." she paused and I could tell she was checking the time "thirty minutes!" Ash said happily "We gotta get a head start there if we want to explore while it's light outside!"
I sighed at her energetic personality but couldn't hold back my laugh "Alright then.. I'm getting dressed and ready so I'll see you soon Ash. Love ya" After I said that we blew a kiss to each other through the phone and hung up. We'd been friends since kindergarten so she was basically the sister I had never had. I walked out of my room, and headed to the bathroom. I shut the door, locked it, and got undressed. I got in the shower before turning the water on and letting it run over my body which felt rather nice. It was a pretty summer day so there wasn't much to worry about. I told google to play my morning playlist and it started with [your favorite song]. I sang along, quite loudly, while scrubbing my hair and finished my shower. I quickly got dressed right as Ash texted saying they were thirteen minutes away. I blow dried my hair and fixed it into my normal style [adding gel or tying it up]. There was a knock on my door right as I finished tying my shoes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Right on time as usual.. I open the door to see my friends Ash, Tyler, Casey, and Sean. I was welcomed by a group hug and a slobber-y kiss from Chase, my German shepherd, who has been staying with Sean. We all talked for a minute before getting in my truck.. I started driving that way while starting more small talk with my childhood friends.
