I led Taiwan back to the lobby, still astonished from what I heard. I wanted to hear more, but I couldn't just flat out and ask "How did your mother die?". What this meant was in going on a search. I've decided after 27 years I can't just forget it ever happened. There's a murderer on the run and its my job to find out who this is.
First things first in going to have to find out more about Taiwan's mom. Next I would have to look into his personal records to find his last name. This is strictly illegal as well as just wrong, but I have to. I browsed for a minute or two until I found it "Birth Mother: Andrea Malfoy". I felt relieved as well as very guilty. I printed out her DOB and Death Certificate. I carefully locked them into my briefcase and decided I'd take off work early. I had not token a day off in at least a year. I got in my car and headed home. I drove past my old house. Still with the woods on the property. I glanced back into the forest to see darkness, still. The same way it had been 27 years ago. When I arrived home I walked straight to the office and started working. I looked into Mrs.Malfoy's records. It stated she died from a slit to the throat. Exactly what I had saw. As well as saying her fingertips were burned off. Sounds like a means of torture. I looked into that. What does burning the tips of someone's fingers do and where does it come from? After a long time of searching I found out that the Indians long ago used this technique as a torture for running away, and or disobeying the chief. Am I dealing with a tribal murder? Is this a sacrifice? So many unanswered questions. I decided to dress in my best clothing and head down to the morgue. There I spoke to the person working there, persuading that I was an Officer investigating a series of murders. Luckily she believed me. She took me through the rooms of body's. To find one. Andrea Malfoy. He opened up the morgue case. There she was. The woman I saw those many years ago. Exactly the same. I examined her acting like I knew exactly what I was doing. I looked for any kind of mark of the Indian tribe but finding nothing except a circle carved on her palm. I asked if he had ever seen a victim with burnt fingertips like hers and he responded with a confident "Yes.". I asked him show them to me. One by one I saw the same circle in the same place, burned finger tips, and slit throats. Each person different in race, height, weight. One thing was the same. They were all women. I asked for a possibility of rape. He said it is way to late to check for that as there are 1 murder like this every year. The most recent one had been 6 months ago. I asked to see the dates the time of death was. All had the exact same date too. January 12th. I left immediately after that and headed home for more research.
I found it! On January 12th the Comanche Indians have a ritual sacrificing and then praying to whatever they believe in. Except one thing was was that the sacrifice was not supposed to be humans or even living things for that matter. All the sacrifice was a month worth of the sun. How do you give sun?
