They were always so difficult, I tried to help, to watch.

It's what I've always done, how I've always worked, but now I'm home and nothing's going to hold me back...

- BLOODLINES -

It's interesting to watch, to see my brothers so picky and jealous of one another, I always left them. Commitment and family, it was a sore spot for little old me.

I can only sit and watch, the old act of Damon and his innocence, it reminds me of the past. How he lied and was so smooth, of course, Auggie never had a way with words until his change that is.

They squabble like always, the Salvatore Brothers and their little brother, he would never get a mention. Not a single one, the stories didn't allow for his story to be told.

"What did you do? That girl is going to remember, it's going to be a problem! This can't happen again, I won't have this town be your personal sandpit, Damon!" Oh, new words from Stefan, August could almost speed away and hug him.

Brings a tear to his forever sixteen years old eye.

Damon, on brand and without care scoffs, his lips curling back and fingers dusted off on a nice silk shirt. Hey, long as he enjoys himself and August certainly knows he's been doing more than that.

August never came to town without insurance and friends.

"That sounds like a problem for you baby brother, maybe Joan the Bunny can lend you some extra powers for that little extra mojo..." He whispers and is just about to swagger away as the doorbell rings, oh, now it's his turn of play.

The two of them seemed to present a united front in opening the door as Sammy makes his entrance, his shirt pressed and buttoned. Oh, Auggie loved that look with him, he looked cute at least.

"Salvatores, I have a message." He's as quiet as the wind and even Damon doesn't have a witty retort, there's nothing to say, nothing he can do.

"Sam-" Stefan seems to smile in spite of memories from the past, August forgot, the two shared quite the history. Ah, love, it certainly was the bitch of that century.

"My sire wishes the town to be cleaned up on his arrival, all your petty games and feuds, it stops here. Vicki Donovan will be given a chance, sheltered someplace else, and treated as a true member of our line should. Is that understood?" His voice pleads for them to say something, yet they only nod and there it is, the bare fear that lay in their eyes.

August purred, its good they understand the hierarchy now. After all, he was nothing if not thorough in choosing who got his blood and who his blood decided to bring within his coven.

"We understand, tell Auggie, we're ready to meet him." Stefan smiles at the Gilbert vampire who only spun on the heels of his feet and sped away.

The two don't even speak, each goes off and does their own thing as August makes his getaway.

- BLOODLINES -

"Are they serious? What's with this town and a baby vamp overpowering your brothers? They're over a century plus years old, a wooden bullet shouldn't be a threat to them." He only wished Sammy was here, at least he'd calm  Auggie's snarky sidekick right now.

Yet Billie always had something in the way with her words as she snaps her fingers and August felt a sensation rock over him.

"Thanks. Let's get this over with!" He walks into the clearing, seeing how Logan Fell was caught in Sam's waiting and malleable hands.
