"And I'm back to claim what's mine."
His trembling and shaky fingers almost immediately hung up the call.
The sincerity in his words was so visible and it scared him to know that the other wasn't lying and he doesn't know why.
Or maybe he did. And he decided to bury the fact that it hurted his whole existence to even think of the other returning— deep, deep in himself.
He had left out of nowhere after all and even now, he was coming back out of nowhere. Of course, it would hurt him.
"What's wrong?" He heard Soobin mumble the question as he seated himself down on the chair.
He looked up at the younger and saw the other still finshing his food.Yeonjun just softly shook his head and went back to eat his food but his appetite seemed to die down and so he just sat there, staring and adoring his boyfriend's beauty.
"Who called?" He heard the other question once again, cutting the silence in the process. "You seem tense."
A part of him wanted to tell him the truth but the other, the massive part of himself wanted to lie and he wasn't even sure why. He didn't really knew why.
But still, he found himself choosing that big part of himself rather than the first, small one and so, he was there, thinking of some random but understandable things to lie about.
"What's wrong, Jun? You can tell me all of it, you know that, right?" Soobin moved his chair closer to his one and put his large hand on top of his, his eyes showing the absolute sincerity that each of his words had.
Yeonjun gently sighed at that before nodding, "I'm completely fine. It's just that someone, unknown and random just called me out of nowhere and I had just been a bit creeped out and annoyed by that, you could say?"
The taller let out an 'oh' before speaking softly, "you just need to say the words, love. I will make sure to beat that person up and make them regret even thinking of annoying you." He let out a smile, making his dimples come into view. He looked so cute.
"You are creepy," Yeonjun let out before gesturing for the other to continue eating which Soobin did.
Yeonjun actually knew that the younger was definitely serious about what he said. After all, he had once even beaten up a person so bad that they had to be hospitalised right away.
And maybe, it was also a reason why he lied to him. Though, it wasn't totally a lie. The truth was just that he did knew the person.
Yeonjun picked up his plate before throwing away the food and then washing his plate, afterwards. He walked out of the kitchen after doing so and walked towards where Soobin was. "Complete it fast, we are getting late. And don't forget to wash your dishes too, after that."
"Yes, sir!" Soobin saluted him before finishing his food and doing as he was told while Yeonjun went out to the garden.
He took his phone out and dailed a specific number while his fingers were trembling as he did so.
"Okay, okay, I get it!" He cried out, his face sulked up in a frown as he heard the other yell. "I get it! Ugh!" He repeated it over and over again but it seemed like it had no effect on the other.
Soobin, who was busy driving with his eyes and attention absolutely fixed on the road, glanced at Yeonjun before smiling at his boyfriend's very much annoyed and sulky self.
