The mod will have three songs in total: Redtail, Warrior, Howl. It will also have two bonus songs in Freeplay, which are Tutorial (Cougar Remix) and Wild. As mentioned before, the song "Redtail" is named after an Animal Jam OC that Cougar used to voice, while the song "Warrior" gets its name from the Warrior Cats series, and Cougar made a few voice audition videos for some of the characters on his YouTube channel. Speaking of Animal Jam, the songs are mostly inspired by music tracks from the game. The Tutorial remix will be based on "Play Wild", "Redtail" will be based on the music for the Beginner's Tutorial, "Warrior" will be based on "Jam On" and "Jam Session", and "Howl" will be sort of based on "Jammer Anthem". On the other hand, "Wild" will be based on the Tribal Island song from My Singing Monsters instead of an Animal Jam track, and it will also have a few elements from "My Battle", "Inverted Ascension", "Always Here", "Yap Squad", "Zavodila", and "Screenplay".
Here's what the songs could sound like:
Tutorial (Cougar Remix) - This remix of the Tutorial song is in the key of C# major and has 115 beats per minute. It has a steady beat and the use of a keyboard sound effect.
Redtail - The song is in the key of C and has 120 beats per minute. It is calm and casual, yet cheerful and upbeat, which is a nice way to start the mod. It features wooden percussion and samples of a piano and flute.
Warrior - The song is in the key of G minor and has 140 beats per minute. It has an electronic melody with an upbeat rhythm and rock 'n roll elements. It features heavy use of synthetic electronic instruments with occasional record-scratching, drums, electric guitar, bass guitar, and electric keyboard.
Howl - The song is in the key of D major and has 130 beats per minute. It starts with a hip-hop style drum beat before CJ says "It's showtime!", and then changes into more of a rock style. It has an upbeat melody played primarily by an acoustic guitar and electric guitar with accompanying parts from a flute and violin. The song includes spoken lines from some of the characters, mainly CJ laughing, Cerberus barking, and Big Brother giving compliments like "Not bad!" and "Nice bars there, bro!". At some parts of the song, Cougar will howl like a wolf, especially when the beat drops at the end of the first verse. At one point in the song, Boyfriend will also howl. At the end of the song, Big Brother says "Aw, sweet, dude!" while Cougar laughs.
Wild - The song is in the key of D#/Eb Major and has 120 beats per minute. It starts with an unpitched percussion instrumental consisting of an acoustic drum kit and a synthesized drum kit. Before the fourth bar, Cerberus barks and Cougar starts to sing his part, followed by Boyfriend singing his part. After they've sung some parts, the others join in. Some of their sung parts consist of motifs from other songs from their home mods. Tabi's parts are similar to "My Battle", CJ's parts are similar to "Inverted Ascension" and "Starstorm", Big Brother's parts are similar to "Always Here" and "Don't Worry", Ruv's parts are similar to "Zavodila", A.G.O.T.I.'s parts are similar to "Screenplay", and Cerberus' short bark solo is similar to "Yap Squad". Tabi, Ruv, and A.G.O.T.I. sing alongside Cougar while CJ, Big Brother, and Cerberus sing alongside Boyfriend. The melody of the song is played by an electric guitar, piano, flute, cello, and synthesizer. The beat is composed of the aforementioned acoustic and synthesized drum kits, as well as a marching bass drum, snare drum, cymbal, and an electric drum kit. After the climax of the song, Cougar and Boyfriend sing with the others accompanying them on their parts. Towards the end of the song, Cougar and Boyfriend go back to singing solo parts as it comes to a less percussion-dominant conclusion.
