Zayn was stuck living with his father. Who may I add wasn't the best father to Zayn. Zayn's father was an alcoholic and would always leave Zayn home by himself and would come home late at night drunk and anytime he was angry he would take his anger out on Zayn. For example Zayn had woken up in the middle of the night and went downstairs to the kitchen to get a glass of water, his father stumbled through the front door after being at the club and was clearly drunk. He walked to the kitchen and spotted Zayn and started yelling at him and saying some words that aren't appropriate for a 5 year old child to hear and started beating him until Zayn started screaming for him to stop but that didn't make his father stop from beating him. The neighbors happened to hear Zayn's screaming and called the police on his father. Zayn's father ended up going to prison for 12 years but then died 2 years later from suicide. Zayn is a sweet boy but doesn't talk much due to what happened with his father and always gets scared around new people.

Liam is a really talkative boy and loves making people laugh. He hates when people are sad and always does whatever it takes to cheer them up. He also hates getting in trouble because it makes him feel like nobody loves him.
A/n: I've seen and read a bunch of One Direction stories and I wanted to make one too and I'll try my best on this story and you can always leave ideas in the comments or message me.
