*No one's pov*
Louis woke up before Harry did and decided to get up and wake Niall up. He slowly got out of bed without waking Harry up and made my way to Niall's room. He opens his door and saw him still asleep laying on his stomach and one arm is slung to the side of his bed and he's letting out quiet little snores. He makes his way over to his bed and crouch down in front of it. He moves some of his hair out of Niall's face and lightly kiss him on his forehead.
Louis sees him smile slightly as he makes a cute little sound that's a mix of a hum and a whine. Niall opens his eyes and stares at Louis with his baby blue eyes.
"Good morning my beautiful boy" Louis said while tucking a strand of hair behind his ear.
Niall lets out a little yawn and lifts one hand to rub the sleep out of his eyes. "Morning daddy"
"How'd you sleep love?" Louis said while getting up and sitting next to him on his bed
"Good, where's Papa?" Niall asked looking around the room
"He's still sleeping bug" Louis said and picked him up and set him on my lap
Niall immediately wraps his arms around my neck and buries his head in the crook of Louis' neck and he wrap my arms around him and press a kiss to the top of his head and rest his cheek there afterwards.
After a little bit of silence Louis hears tiny little sniffles and he lift my head up and pulls Niall away but keep him at arm length and sees tears rolling down Niall's face and his lip wobbling.
"Hey, what's the matter?"
Niall doesn't respond just nuzzles his head into my shirt. Louis pull him back again and lifts his hand to swipe at Niall's tears.
"What's with the tears huh?" Louis asks softly while rubbing my hand up and down Niall's back in circles.
Niall just lets out a whine and rubs his eyes with his fist and looks down and starts playing with his fingers.
Louis brings his hand up to Niall's chin and lift his head up so he's looking at Louis.
"Niall, baby come on talk to me. What's wrong?" Louis asks, while looking into Niall's baby blue eyes.
Niall sniffs before speaking very quietly but enough for Louis to hear. "I miss mummy"
"Oh baby, it's ok. I know you miss her but you have me and Papa now"
"What if I lose you and Papa too then I'll be all by myself again" Niall whispers and then let's out a heartbreaking sob.
Louis immediately pull him to my chest and softly shushing him while whispering reassuring things in his ear.
"You're not gonna lose me or Papa baby, we're not going anywhere" Louis whispered in his ear while rocking him
Niall stops crying after a little while and his breathing goes back to a normal pace.
"Wanna go downstairs and have some breakfast?" Louis asks him softly
Niall nods and Louis stands up with Niall still in my arms and Niall lays his head on Louis' shoulder.
Louis walk downstairs and into the kitchen and he sets Niall down on the counter.
"What would you like for breakfast?" Louis asked him
Niall stays silent for a moment as if he's thinking before he responds.
"Pancakes" he says with a small smile
"Pancakes it is then" Louis said while getting all the ingredients out
Louis start making the pancakes with Niall next to him chatting away about his favorite things and so on
