3rd POV

It was a snowy day on December 15th, Christmas was just around the corner and the kids begged to play in the snow all day. They wanted to build a snowman. Rose has made one before but it would be Hazzel and Nial's first time making a snowman.

Sandra and Valerie broke down and finally decided to let the kids go and play. They came with them as well to make sure they were safe.

They all huddled around a big pile of snow that they were going to use to make a tall snowman. That started on the biggest ball first that they needed for his lower torso. Rose helped her younger siblings roll up a big ball to use.

While they were doing that, Valerie and Sandra were busy making the top half of the torso. Once the kids were done with the first part, Valerie and Sandra put their ball on top of it. Now all they needed was the head.

Valerie and Sandra went inside to get the carrot and some buttons to put on him, careful that they could watch Rose, Hazzel, and Nial from the window. Valerie finished getting the carrot, hat, and scarf for him. Sandra finished rounding up the buttons.

By the time they were outside, the head was finished and they were working on making him some feet. Valerie gave Nial the carrot, Rose the hat, and Hazzel the scarf. Nial stuck the carrot into the middle of the head. Rose, being the taller one, put the hat on the top of his head. Then Hazzel wrapped the scarf around where his neck would be.

Sandra helped put the button on the right places for the eyes. Then Hazzel put two buttons on the middle snowball. Then Nial put three on the bottom snowball, with a little help from Rose. Hazzel made a snowball in that time and threw it at Rose. Rose laughed and made one too and threw it in her direction.

To avoid getting hit, Valerie and Sandra sat down on a bench nearby and watched as their kids started a snowball fight. Rose was helping Nail since he was little and didn't know how to make a snowball.

Sandra was humming a song. Valerie was able to identify the song pretty easily. It was Snowman by Sia, it was a really pretty song. She rested her head on Sandra's shoulder.

"Sing, love." Valerie encouraged her wife. It was insane she could call this extraordinary being hers. Nonetheless, she started to sing,

I want you to know that I'm never leaving
Cause I'm Ms. Snow, till death we'll be freezing
Yeah, you are my home, my home for all seasons
So come on, let's go

Her singing angelic, like it was sent from something not on this earth. Her voice was as if all the greatest singers in the world teamed together to make one voice. Valerie joined in her singing.

Lets go below zero and hide from the sun
I love you forever where we'll have some fun
Yes, let's hit the North Pole and live happily
Please don't cry no tears, it's Christmas, baby
