Midas 🌟

Hi! First things first, here's an important headcanon to better help understand some of the things listed in this chapter! I believe that the Cyclo skin is Midas, given that he had his hand on Cyclos vacant suit in The Device event loading screen, so there's a bit of talk about him in here. Just thought I'd clear that up to avoid any confusion, thank you!! Anyways, back to the headcanons.

He has naturally wavy hair, but he straightens it daily. Jules cut his hair and made sure it looked horrible, but to a point where Midas thinks it's GREAT and walks around looking like an absolute idiot.

He keeps a pair of reading glasses on him 24/7. They're stored in his vest pocket and used whenever he needs to read something, or look at images in detail. You know how old people grab their glasses and squint whenever you show them something on your phone? Yeah. That's Midas. This may or may not be me making up for Epic removing his glasses last-minute (which I'm still pissed over). I like to think he takes them off during battle so he doesn't mess them up or break them.

Speaking of reading, he's definitely the kind of guy to just sit by a fireplace with a glass of [insert expensive alcoholic drink here] and read for hours on end with the little spare time he gets. Poor man looks like he doesn't get much time to himself, honestly. He enjoys reading poetry, specifically Edgar Allen Poe, & any old mythology he can get his hands on. His favorite book series is "The Vampire Chronicles" by Anne Rice, & his favorite book is "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu, which he uses for battle strategies occasionally.

He's gotta be British in some way or another. I'm aware he has an American accent, but I don't care. He looks like he sounds British. Just look at his cheekbones, man. He's British. Real!!!

Him and Jules would have small, short tea parties when she was little. Not because he's British in my eyes or anything, (okay maybe it is) but I just feel like they would. They still do it from time-to-time now, but instead of drinking mini, cute cups of tea, they just drink whatever's on hand, glaring at each other in absolute silence.

If someone asked, "What color is your Bugatti?" he'd respond with, "Which one?"

Dreams and visions Midas had inspired his tattoos. The golden ones appeared when he got the golden touch, which later on predicted his "death". The shark tattoos on his wrists showed up first, and if you look closely, it seems like the shark is spitting gold out of its mouth. That's what made his other tats gold. He had Jules do all of his tattoos, on the condition that she could design one of his, which were the skull tattoos on his upper arms.

He'd REFUSE to listen to anything that wasn't on a vinyl record. He really enjoys Jazz music, but his favorite artist is Frank Sinatra. One of his top songs in general is "Puttin' On the Ritz"! Marigold is SUCH a Gaga stan, & Cyclo enjoys Slipknot.

Midas Rex is by far the oldest skin and his personality is that of a grumpy, tired old man. Icebound Midas legit has no personality whatsoever. The other snapshots just use him to keep things and themselves cold. He's like a human freezer, dude.

He's OBSESSED with vampires/vampire lore, and would even pretend to be one as a child. He wouldn't even go outside during the daytime, leading to an issue where he's a tad bit sensitive to the sun. (I mean hell, he's pale as fuck. Bro is literally gray.) The Agents would RUN to him with loads of sunscreen any time he just simply walked over to the door. During Halloween, he literally just has a normal, average day, but he wears expensive, custom made, retractable vampire fangs. That's it. That's all he does on Halloween. Casually wear fangs. OOH, also, when Jules was still growing up, he'd make sure she had the BEST costumes.
