Sunset Shimmer x Reader (oneshots/drabbles)

Sleepover

It was starting to get dark out, you were on your way to Sunset's house since you agreed you'd come for a sleepover. Without noticing, you accidentally walked by her apartment. You were distracted by the sky's gorgeous view. Its beautiful pink and blue colors mixing and the clouds like cotton candy caught your attention. You were mezmerized by the sunset's breathtaking view, reminds you of a little someone you know.

As you were about to grab your phone from your pocket, you felt it vibrate. It was a message from your friend, Sunset Shimmer.

"You did not just pass by my apartment again. didn't you?"
the text read.

you blushed out of embarassment for getting distracted. before you turned around, you quickly took a picture of the sky and walked back to Sunset's appartment.

As you opened the door, you were greeted by Sunset, who apparently had a slightly dissappointed look in her face.
"ah look who's finally here. took you long enough." Sunset said, smiling lightly knowing that you finally arrived.

"Sorry. I really need to stop getting distracted."you said as you smiled sheepishly while rubbing your neck.
"Eh whatever, i'll let it slide. Come in."
Sunset said, stepping aside to let you in.

"Hey, im really glad you made it. I've made some plans for us tonight!" She said.
"Plans huh? That's nice. Whats first on your 'list' then?" you said sarcastically.

"I'm glad you asked! Because that would be knowing why you took so long to get here." She said, her smile fading as she said the last sentence.Your eyes widened a bit to the sudden change of tone. "oh w-well you s-see i was uh, i..."
you trailed off, as you saw Sunset's eyebrow raise, waiting patiently for your reason. "okay fine, i got distracted because of the sky."  You sighed in defeat.

"oh. why? what did you see?" Sunset asked.

"Here i'll show you." you replied, as you grabbed your phone from your pocket again, scrolling on your gallery looking for the photo of the sunset that you took earlier.
"Ah. Here"

Sunset walked over to you to look at the picture on your phone.
"Woah. The sunset?"

"mhm." you nodded. "I couldn't help but take a photo of it before i walked back to your apartment. Besides it reminded me of a certain someone who im about to spend the night with right now" you said, with a smirk on your face.

This caused Sunset to blush. "Awh shucks. You're quite a sappy one aren't you?" she said, playfully punching you on your arm.

You giggled, "well, i guess i am"

"Now come on, let's move on to the exciting part." Sunset said, walking near the TV.
What do you say? movie night? I'll let you pick what genre this time. I have a ton of different kinds of movies here." she added.

"I'd say eh, horror." you said.

Sunset chuckled. "Ooh, Nice choice. Let's hope you won't regret that later on." she said with a grin.

You gulped. "Oh cmon.. im not a scaredy cat."

"Yeah right" Sunset replied. with a wide smirk on her face.
"Aha! I found a good one."
You raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"The Conjuring!  Whaddya think?" Sunset asked.

Your eyes widened, expression filled with terror as the thought of ever rewatching that horrible horror movie that caused you nightmares when you were a kid.

"s-sure.. b-but isn't there a better and less s-scarier movie than this?" You said nervously, with a sheepish grin.

"oh why? are you scared?" she said teasingly.

"AM NOT!!" you yelled at her.

Sunset laughed at your reaction.
"Okay okay, i'll stop bullying you for being scared." she chuckled.
"we're watching Conjuring. But, you can cling onto me whenever you get scared. I don't mind." she giggled. but this time she meant it.

"Fair enough." you sighed, as you sat on her couch. After inserting the cd in the cd player on the tv, Sunset quickly sat next to you on the other end of the couch.

"Now this'll be something interesting alright."
Sunset muttered to herself.
