"Since when did that happen?" Sunset slightly raised her voice at you, she wasn't angry, but worried. You ignored her, walking continously upstairs to her bedroom.
"Oh don't play silent treatment with me. What's going on with you?!" You stopped, and sighed. Your grip on the rails of the stairs tightened, as anger boiled up inside you. The feeling of wanting to scream at everything and everyone is coming back. You wanted to be left alone. Yet Sunset was doing the complete opposite, this fact pissed you off even more.

"I'm fine Sunset. Please." You said sternly. But that didn't stop your girlfriend from bugging you. You appreciated her wanting to help but right now, you wanted to have your own space.
"Sunshine, please.. i'm not mad im just.. worried. okay? Please tell me whats going on, you've been acting so distant lately and,, i don't like that one bit." she said with pure concern.

A huge pang of guilt washed over you. You really wanted to tell her but you couldn't. It was hard to find the right words. "I just want to be left alone Sunset. I need my own space." You said. You didn't want to talk anymore.

"Oh sunshine.. you know i can help you with whatevers going on.. if you just let me" Sunset pleaded, as she placed her hand on your shoulder. You didn't respond.

"Y/N. Do we need to get through this again? You know you can tell me any-
"how ironic coming from you, Shimmer." you said under your breath as you cut her off.
"What was that?" She asked.
"i said.. THATS IRONIC COMING FROM YOU SUNSET." you snapped. slapping her hand off your shoulder as you turned to face her.

Her eyes widened at the sudden outburst. She was surprised seeing you this upset. Sunset fell silent. Sunset realized what you meant. She realized she was starting to act like her old self. She remembered the times where she always pushed everyone away by always screaming and being angry for no reason. And how she used to bottle up her feelings and refusing to to tell her very own friends.

"I- just, leave me alone." you said in a low voice. Embarassed at what you've done.
"are you sure you don't want my help Sunshine?"
Sunset asked for the last time.
"I DONT WANT YOUR HELP. LEAVE ME ALONE!" you yelled at her once more as you looked away from her.

Sunset went silent again. But she knew exactly what to do this time.
"go away Sunset.." you sighed.
Your eyes widened when you quickly felt her arms wrapped around your waist. Hugging you tightly. You couldn't hold this in much longer anymore. Tears began blur your vision. You turned to face her as you hugged her back. You shut your eyes and sobbed on her chest.
"I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry... I d-didn't mean to snap at you l-like that..."

"No its okay sunshine. I deserved it."
Sunset sighed. "I'm sorry too, Y/N. I shouldn't have forced you to tell me how you were feeling when you made it clear to me you wanted to be left alone. I was just worried for you sunshine..."
"I-I know.." you sobbed. Your tears soaking her leather jacket.

You both stayed in that position for a while. You didn't to pull away. Not yet. You needed that hug so badly. All those years, you just wanted someone to understand why you lose your temper easily, instead of leaving you to feel guilty for something you had trouble controlling.

You sobbed even loudly on Sunset's chest.
Sunset didn't say anything. She knew how much you needed to let that out. You couldn't keep your feelings bottled up any longer. You were grateful Sunset was there for you. Her warm embrace helped all the anger left inside you disappear.
