Y/N hurried to the adventures guild "Ad Astra Abyssosque. Welcome to the Adventurers Guild" Katheryne said emotionlessly
"Hello Kath, may I have a map" Y/N requested before Katheryne looked under the counter for map.
"Here you go. Ad Astra Abyssosque" She said, passing the map to Y/N and waving
"Ad Astra Abyssosque Kath" Y/N exclaimed in a rush as they ran away whilst waving. Katheryne looked confused but shrugged it off before turning to look for more wanna-be adventurers.
Y/N threw themself into a sprint. Everyone look at them in confusion and curiosity. As they ran, they inspected everyone's face and believed their thoughts were along the lines of 'Why are they running? Are they in trouble? Are they late for something?' Regardless of the overthinking, they kept running.
In this moment, they valued their safety, Lira's safety and their vision above all else. They suddenly saw the end of the buildings that introduced the exit of Inazuma city, they felt a sudden wave of relief as they approached the end of the city's pavement.
That feeling was shattered easily as the Tenryou Commission gained formation right in front of them, which answered everyone's thoughts about why they were previously running. "We are the Tenryou Commission. Surrender your vision now or we'll have to take it by force." They commanded raising their polearms. Everyone had now turned to Y/N, it was now their time to shine.
Y/N inspected the opposing group as they raised their hands pretending to surrender. They realised that these people had no one commanding them, as if they all suddenly teamed up with one another without a Shogunate Samurai leading them. They could tell by their uniform.
"You know.." Y/N began "I hate overconfident people... but fine" They lied as they started reaching in their bag, they threw them over a fake vision that they had crafted.
"Thank you for you're cooperation." They bowed.
The person who grabbed the 'vision' accidently triggered something. The vision suddenly made a really bright light that blocked their vision for around 5 seconds.
(I did say it was Y/N's time to shine)
Y/N ran the fastest they did today towards Amakane Island, knowing the Tenryou had almost cornered them.
They ran towards the peaceful stalls, knowing damn well they were about to ruin that atmosphere with the Tenryou Commision trailing behind them. As Y/N ran, they repeatedly looked at the map and at their surroundings.
They were looking for a windwaver that could take them a safe distance from the Tenryou Commision, and maybe, just maybe, bring them to Watasumi Island.
They lauched themself into the Waverider and gained control over the vehicle as they drove off. They had a mental celebration before they realised something a bit too late. They had realised that the Tenryou commision were able to throw their weapon.
They found that out after a polearm came flying towards Y/N, but luckily it only cut their arm. The cut wasn't deep but it still hurt though.
As Y/N reached a safe distance away from the seemingly leaderless soldiers, they lowered their beanie, revealing some dog ears. They had to double check if the vision was safe, the vision was clipped into a small loop earing.
It was safe so Y/N returned the beige beanie back to hide her dog ears. As they continued driving, attempting to get to Watasumi Island, they pondered about the Commision.
'Why did they run after me, without orders or instructions and most importantly, without a shoganate samurai?' They wondered.
They were working in a popular cafe in a busy part of town, so they were always granted a front row seat in seeing the confiscation of the visions. Sure it was hard to watch, all the blood and all the tears. But they also oddly focused seeing the flaws in their routine in collecting visions.
They thought it was weird and that she should just ignore it, but now she could probably use it to inform others and this so called 'resistance'.
They thought back to that group that had almost caught them, they were captivated by them. They must have not went by the original plan because of the absence of a leader.
'I was running pretty fast, they must have seen the urgency and ran in the hopes of catching me. They were close but not close enough.' Y/N thought proudly, acting as though they were an well known criminal, yet to be humbled.
Fortunately they had not done that many bad deeds, this was just a fantasy that they'd only want to go through just to feel bad*ss.
(Like the reader when they listen to an audio edit, and acting as though they were in a movie. Yes I'm looking at you.)
Please do not talk about how random the flash grenade was. Idk about Y/N's talents and I do not want to know. I really don't want something so predictable like *she runs away* bc that's boring. So any questions about the flash grenade, author logic.
