I approached the building, nervous about how this is going to play out "General Gorou, this is the person I was talking to you about. They could be really be useful when figuring out defence or offence!" Gorou shot the young solider a confused look "How so?" The boy looked over to me, as if inviting me to speak.

"Well, I have a cafe in a really popular area and I see the soliders confiscating visions daily. Everytime it happens, I study the pattern they use and what their flaws are." I explained

"I presume you've heard that the goal of the resistance is to defeat the Shogun's Army and repeal the Vision Hunt Decree. This is no easy task. Each who sets foot on the battlefield must be ready to sacrifice their life. Tell me, why do you wish to join us? The resistance cannot accept any who don't possess a warrior's will - you and I must be certain of your decision." Gorou explained.

I felt a hole in my stomach, the events that occured were difficult to remember without being upset "I hate everything about this decree, it's only breaking people instead of protecting them. After a... certain event, they don't seem like the type to hear anyone out about this situation. I am willing to protect my family, friends, and Inazumian citizens from this situation, no matter the cost."

Gorou thought for a bit and then smiled at my answer "On behalf of the resistance, welcome to our ranks." Gorou proceeded to request the soldier to patch up my injury, which was caused by the Tenryou Commision. I was quickly escorted to the med area and my cut was soon patched up with a soft, silky bandage. Afterwards, the soldier offered to show me around the base, which I accepted.

After an hour, we had finished the tour and I was free to walk around. I felt a little awkward as everyone was wearing the uniform and I was not. Luckily, Gorou had previously informed me that I would recieve my uniform in one week or sooner.

I had decided to go to the training grounds for my freetime, so I could be more helpful in battle. I grabbed the bow, got an arrow, and pulled back on the string. I let go, but unfortunately, missed. I tried another 4 times but repeatedly missed. I looked away in disappointment, only for a sword to catch my attention. I walked over and picked it up before inspecting it.

It wasn't exactly special, nothing engraved, no special coloring, no special effects, but that didn't really matter. 'If I can fight with it, that's all that matters.' I thought before standing up. I brushed dirt off my pants before approaching the training dummies.

I raised my sword up and striked the dummy, it was alot easier than using a bow. I practiced a bit more and got the hang of it. Eventually the sun began to settle down and the pinky-orange sky arrived. A soldier informed me that dinner is starting and I have to head over.

I entered the building and was eventually introduced to everyone by Gorou. The soldiers were pretty nice, there were some salty ones, but you can't be friends with everyone. After dinner ended, almost everyone took showers until it was time for curfew.

Usually I'd take my beanie off before I go to sleep, but me and some other soliders had to share a room. As I began to settle down, I thought of my first day. I thought of how nice most of the soldiers were, and how I'd began to learn sword fighting. The thing that made me feel most comfortable was my general, Gorou. He always knew how to teach everyone new tactics and he was a very kind person, he was a really good choice for a general.

It also made me comfortable to see someone who was just like me, a human dog mix. But the way Gorou was continually being definded because of his tail and ears, that was enough to keep hiding my true identity. As I thought more about my day, I got more tired, and before I knew it, I fell asleep.

Hope here! Sorry that i haven't updated in a week, i was quite busy.
