I woke up. I saw Nolan looking at me.
"That was reckless," Nolan said.
"What?" I asked.
"Kaite? What the hell is going on?" Ezra asked.
"Oh my god! How? Jer couldn't cure you." My mom explained.
"Then who did?"
Everyone looked at me.
"What?" I asked.
"Jayce?" Ezra asked.
"Who?"
Ezra slowly walked up to me and kissed my forehead. Before I could comprehend what had just happened, memories from my past returned. I fell on my butt once again. I looked at Ezra.
"Dad?" I asked.
"Hi, sweetie." He responded.
I got up and hugged him. He put his head on mine and looked at Katie.
"Ten years," Katie replied.
"What the hell? Where is Jerrica?"
"Let me call her."
Katie tried calling Jerrica, but there was no answer. She tried once again, and someone picked up, but by everyone's reaction, it wasn't Jerrica.
"Hello?" Katie said.
"Jerrica is with me." The male voice said.
"What have you done with my wife?" Ezra asked.
"Nothing...yet!"
"Fuck you, John!"
The phone call then ended. Ezra looked at his bracelet, which went from an amber color to black.
"Shit!" He said.
"What are we going to do?" Nolan asked.
"Take her to New York! I'll find Jerrica." Ezra continued. "Thank you for protecting my daughter."
Nolan then saluted my dad. I hugged my dad once again.
"You look like your mother," He said.
I hugged my dad once again. My dad then left, and Katie turned to me.
"Hey, look-" She started.
I hugged her.
"Thank you," I said.
"Look, I'm not your biological mom, but I still love you."
"I love you too."
"Now go; Nolan will keep you safe."
"Bye!"
We then left my childhood home.
