Juliet's perspective
Mom and dad have been fighting about which collage I should go to way to much recently. Personally I would love to go to another country, maybe in Europe or something. But all they talk about is how dad is a basic bitch for wanting me in Harvard and how stupid mom is for wanting me in Yale. I'm exhausted just by hearing them argue.

I decided to escape from them and take a coffee at Luke's instead. Lucky us for living so close to the mid "town"/the center of the town. It was maybe 3 or 4 minutes from my door to Luke's diner.

"Oh hey Jul" he says when he looks up. He has way to many plates in his hands, there's almost no place left to sit either.
"You need any help with that" I asks as I nods to the plates.
"Yeah thank you. I'm sorry, Jess was supposed to help me but you know...guys" he says and shakes his head. I laugh as I take two plates from him.

"Well someone seems to have fun" i hear this familiar voice behind me, this annoying ass voice, Jess. I remember that he lives with Luke right over the diner.

I turn to him to give him a unbothered look. Bc why did he have to say it like that? Like it was bothering him that someone else in this planet also could have a laugh.

"So?" I turn around and kept helping Luke, I mean someone have to do it. And it's apparently not Jess.
"Hey," he follows me around the tables. I hums as an answer while I walk fast.
"I can do that" he kept talking. I stop and he bumps his chest into my back. I turn around to face him very close to me. I take a step back.
"Oh can you?" I tilt my head to the side to give him a "are you capable to do that?" look or a look that you give a 12 year old child when they act dumb.

He rolls his eyes annoyed and looks out through the window beside us. That's when I noticed a purple blue bruise on his neck. A hicky.
"It's not gonna disappear quicker if you stare at it" he says and I snap back to reality.
"I wasn't staring!" I say.
"Yea sure you wasn't, and this is a mosquito bite" he say sarcastically.

I place a cup of coffee at the table we are standing next to as the door opens.
"Jess!" This blond short haired girl shouts and walk fast to us.
"Oh look, a mosquito" I speak low with an existing voice just for Jess to hear. He lower his head as he lets out a small laugh.
