this is a prequel story to my original Pokemon story and the beginning of Niall's Pokemon Journey with it going up too the moment he becomes the Champion of Kanto.

It's been three days since the incident with Bede and Niall's battle against Bede in that time Niall has been training for his first Gym Badge since Gym leader Milo uses Grass Type Pokemon Niall was going to use.

Niall team was good enough to counter what ever Milo could throw and was ready for his first Gym battle but since it was getting late he decided to return to the Trainer Lodge at the Pokemon centre for the night. After Niall healed his pokemon team enter the Lodge that he and his friends were staying in he saw that Penny and Nessa are still up watching something on the TV it said that Galar will be Hosting a Pokemon Contest competition and anyone that wishes to take part can sign up at their local pokemon centre the girls are Excited and Penny tells Niall that this might be something that she wish to peruse Niall is happy for Penny and with Nessa also wanting to take part they head towards the door to go and sign up now but Niall tells them that the main Pokemon centre is closed for the night so they have to do it first thing in the morning which bursts there bubble a little but they are willing to wait.
Niall's POV:
As the sun began to shine through my Curtains I wake up and see that Penny and Nessa are already dressed and ready to go and sign up for the Contest Companion I remember back to a few years before my Journey started One of my mum's friends did Contests for a Living and it inspired Sarah to be a Contest Trainer so it wouldn't surprise me if Sarah becomes rivals with Penny and Nessa.
