It was 2:00 AM when suddenly the quiet night was interrupted by loud, ear piercing screeching.
It came from the bathroom. Lily jolted up, "What the hell?"

Lily walked over to the bathroom and knocked on the door.
"Hello?" she said, nervous.
"G-go...go away..." a voice said from behind the door. "What? Why?" she asked.
"I don't... I don't wanna hurt you..." it said. "Hurt me? What do you me-"

Suddenly there was loud screeches and roars from inside. "Alright, that's it. I'm coming in." she said. "NO." the same voice spoke, louder and more distorted. "PLEASE. I DON'T..I DON'T W-WANT TO HURT YOU!" it shouted.

Despite what the voice said, Lily still opened the door. Shocked at what she was seeing, she froze. "I told you..." it said. "I didn't want you to open the door for a reason, Lily..." it said, somehow it knew Lily's name. "Wait, how do you know my name?"

The creature turned around.

"H-Hunter...?"

"Just go back to bed, Lily... I-I'll be okay." he said. "No, no! I- I have to get you some elixir. Just..stay there." Lily said.

Lily looked for an elixir for Hunter but there was nothing. Nowhere. "I already tried the Elixir." Hunter said.  "And? Did they help?" Lily asked. Hunter stayed silent.

Lily went outside. Hunter peeked out from behind the door.
Lily pat the grass next to her. Hunter hesitantly approached her and sat next to her. He looked down at the grass, "I don't get why you still wanna help me." he said. "Why wouldn't I?" she asked, a bit surprised. "I'm terrifying. No one would wanna help a thing like me." Hunter said.

"They call them bird beasts, but you're hardly a beast." Lily said,
"You're more like just a small bird, if that makes sense." she said.
Hunter tilted his head.
"You don't have the need to hurt anything, nor do you constantly screech, snarl and growl." Lily said. "Are you trying to compliment me, or...?" Hunter asked, confused.

"I.. you could say that. I'm really just trying to explain why I want to help you." Lily said. Hunter tilted his head again, confused. "I trust you, Hunter. That's the point I was trying to get at."

"Oh. Well, that's..good." he said. "Maybe we-- or I could ask Belos if he knows how to help." she said.
"Well, the last time you tried that, he almost killed Eda. But yeah sure." Hunter said.
"...Can I come with you?" he asked. "Of course!" she said.
