It was a normal day for Philip Wittebane. He was just a young prince at the time.
Prince Philip loved spending time in the forest, there was one giant tree he always sat underneath of. It was like a safe space for him.
As he was walking to his favorite tree, he spotted another young child hiding themselves in the trees. Suddenly, they flew off to the big tree. Philip got to the tree, but just before he was about to sit down, he heard a child up in the tree.
"Huh?" Philip looked up and saw nothing. The child glided down to Philip and stood next to him. "Oh, hello!" the young prince said with a smile.
"H-hello!" The child said, "D-do you mind if I sit here?" they asked. "Go ahead." Philip answered.
"What's your name?" Philip asked. "Oh, me? I'm Gabriel." the child said.
Gabriel sat next to Philip, "What's yours?" he asked. "I'm Philip." the prince said.
"Philip? Hmm... I don't like it." Gabriel said. "Huh? What do you mean?" Philip asked. "It doesn't suit you!" the child said. "It doesn't.. suit me?" Philip asked again, confused. "It sounds silly. I think I'll call you.. Belos!" Gabriel said, smiling. "Belos? I like it!" Philip said.
"Wanna come collect flowers with me?" Gabriel asked. "Oh, sure!" Belos followed him into the forest. They made the flowers into flower crowns for each other.
After a while, it was sunset. "Oh, I should go home." Belos said. "Awwww.. Can we play again tomorrow?" Gabriel asked, sad that his new friend had to go home so soon. They had only just met!
"Of course!" Belos smiled. "Okay!" Gabriel smiled.
