Dagoba Beach
It has been two weeks since Izuku meet his new mentor Marco. Since meeting him Izuku has been constantly pushing himself to try and exceed not only his mentors expectations, but his own as well. That's why since the day they began his training, Izuku had taken it upon himself to also begin and clean up the beach to not only help him gain some muscle but to also try and restore the beach to its former glory.
Overtime Izuku he had now been able to dodge forty strikes before being hit. But with each and every dodge Izuku began to feel...different. Every so often he would feel his eyes give off a slight twitch that had let him dodge an attack from his mentor. When he brought it up with Marco all he said was "wow...didn't think you'd catch it this quickly". Confused Izuku asked him to explain and so both sat down for a quick break while Marco explained further.
"Alright, so like I said before observation haki can either be learned through intense training with someone who has both knowledge and experience in the haki themselves. Or in some peoples cases, they unlocked their Haki while in tense situations." Stopping to look over Izuku for a bit Marco continued. "And judging by those scars on your body I can say that you have had some real tense situations" seeing as his student flinched when he mentioned the scars made it clear to him that this kid had definitely gone through some shit.
Deciding to talk about that with the kid later Marco continued. "So as far as I can see right now whatever you have gone through has put your body in a constant state of survival thus leaving your senses on high. And because of that your developing your observation Haki extremely quickly. Normally it would take someone at least a year to unlock or even begin to train in the basics"
"S-so h-how will I k-know when I've o-obtained m-my o-observation Haki M-Marco sensei" asked Izuku with a nervous yet determined looked on his face. Adopting a thinking pose Marco didn't say anything for a few seconds leaving Izuku to internally freak out believing that he had said something wrong. But before he could fall down the rabbit hole of self loathing he felt a sharp pain on his head given to him by a chop from his mentor.
"Easy kid you said nothing wrong I was just thinking on how to explain it to you" said Marco in a stern tone. "Anyway I can't give you a full answer to your question as I have yet to master my observation Haki, but a sign of a high level of mastery is being able to have foresight or in other words future vision" seeing the dropped jaw of his student Marco let out a internal chuckle. Letting his student process the new information Marco was surprised to see the kid in front of him pull out a notebook from who knows where and began writing and mumbling at in human speeds.
"OI!" deciding to stop this weird behavior Marco gave Izuku another chop to the head bringing the teen out of his mumbling while rubbing the top of his head. "Alright kid I can see your excited but you need to learn how to control....whatever you were just doing." Rubbing the back of his head Izuku gave his mentor a sheepish smile. "S-sorry about that Marco sensei i-it's a habit of mine that happens when I either l-learn something interesting or when I'm w-writing about quirks."
Sighing Marco just looked at his student with a small smile on his face letting the young teen know that he wasn't really mad at him. "B-but if I-I could a-ask how g-great is this f-future vision" Once again adopting a thinking pose Marco went through everything he knew before he responded. "Well....as far as I can say a persons future vision won't let them see days or months into the future, but instead will let them see their opponents next move allowing them to either counter attack or dodge with little to no difficulty"
