When I left him, my heart broke in a million pieces, I know I had to for my case I needed to solve. But I miss him. Yet again.
I had to find a missing girl, and she was quite complicated case to solve, since I had no leads so far, some leads brought me to the palace, again. I thought to myself. "Hopefully I can run into Tewkesbury, however I don't know because It's going to be a masquerade ball with over 100 people there". Furthermore, I'm sure it'll be hard to find him anyway...
~time skip (1 hour later)
I started walking up to people and outright asking what happened, but I made sure to hide it at the same time, and I guess that didn't work out so much because they had just looked at me with weird exchanged looks, and I just walked away, and they just told me to go upstairs because they were basically no help, and I did as they said, and now was watching people dance.
"Ugh, I've always been bad at dancing since my mom never taught me that, because according to her, it wasn't as revelant, so we never got to the more personal part of my training." I thought to myself once again.
I noticed this woman coming up to me, and she showed me why the people here were using their fans to hide random secrets they'd say to each other. Everyone here is so odd.

Through the women's talking, I had peered over the railing, and noticed a tall, dark haired boy near the bouquet of flowers, and I obviously knew who that was, it was Tewkesbury, of course. I pardoned myself away from the women and ran towards him happily. And looked at him moments before I pulled him away into a room.
He started asking so many questions.
"Enola!!! When did you come back!!! UGH, I've missed you, but give me a bit of warning next time at least hahaha" he said as he hugged me as tight as ever.
"Well, I mean, I came here because it turns out I needed to for the mission I'm on." I said with pure joy that I was here with him.
"Hmm... what's the case about... maybe I've heard something about it" He stared up at me curiously..
"Hmm... Well technically I'm not supposed to tell but come here... *I pulled him in closer and whispered to him,* it's a case for this one missing girl, and I'm trying to find clues to find her."
"OH. wait, I might've heard something about that, but I have no idea as to who it is. I'm sorry"
"Oh no it's okay it's my case to solve not yours haha!" I said while laughing a bit.
Suddenly, he asked something that caught me off guard.
"Hey can I help you with this case, I mean I was helping you, and we make a pretty good team Nola. " He said as he pulled my hand close in and kissed it passionately.
"... uhh look, I really don't know, I just-" he interrupted me before I could say what I wanted to. "Don't want me to get hurt? Yes I know but Enola I don't want YOU to end up getting hurt either. Let's just do this together, okay?" I finally gave in.
"Hmm okay fine why not? I guess it wouldn't hurt to have some company anyway" I simply smiled at him as he pressed his soft lips against mine, I remember how that felt, wow.
I smiled at him again, and we walked out hand by hand and headed off on the hunt for the missing girl
