[Subnautica Below Zero Spoilers Ahead.]
Marguerit had been staying inside of the cave system of the Delta Island at the time, there wasn't many predators, she could grow food, the island was a godsend. The Thermal Lily's sprung up as she traversed through the caverns, the only problem with the cave was that it overheated quite quickly, it was located in an area with quite a lot of thermal activity.
She climbed up to the peak of the island, staring down as she began to eat a Fevered Pepper. A few months ago Marguerit had noticed a shuttle crash into the Glacial Basin, it had met the same fate as The Degasi did all that time ago, she wished she had never brought that Reaper Leviathan back to The Grand Reef Base.
The Torgals, friendly folk who didn't deserve their fate, they died because of her. She knew it was all her fault, she could have lived her last days with the kid if she hadn't clung onto that Leviathan. When she had arrived in Sector Zero, the cold seemed to slow down the effects of the disease, letting her survive for so long. She wished she had died with The Torgals, she deserved it.
