🟢🐢-} how they ask for affection and attention

🔵- LEO

- will get very up-in-your-business personal. when leo wants something, he is most definitely the first to go and ask for it! he's not the silent type. if you deny it, though, he will most certainly be (semi) sarcastically dramatic and whine about it to you for a bit.

- prefers to initiate rather than ask, despite being willing to request. following the up-in-your-business role, leo would find it easier to just go up to you and tackle you for affection. if it means he doesn't have to ask for it and gets it automatically, he's down!!

- favorite way to show off or receive affection: likes to surprise you with hugs. you'll never know that they're coming- but when they do, be ready for a flood of romance !! he loves to receive small massages on his back and neck, sometimes, and snuggles, of course !

🔴 - RAPH

- honestly just flat out does not want to bother you. when raph wants affection, he'll start off by asking how your day was, and then slowly seep into his desire for love and attention. if you deny it; he'll be a little disappointed, but he'll understand!

- prefers to ask for affection rather than initiate. again, he feels like he may bother you if he asks for anything!! asking is a way of politely requesting something, and if denied; it's not big deal. he will still love to chat with you about anything and everything; it's another form of attention, anyways ;)

- favorite way to show off or receive affection: hugs. big. giant. hugs. raph is practically one big, giant teddy bear! he takes certain precautions to make sure that you're safe, such as warning you of certain spikes and spots- but man, is he a sucker for hugs!

🟣 - DONNIE

- similar to raph, he does not want to bother you- nor does he like to be bothered himself. there are a few cases where he doesn't mind it, ( he always minds it less when it's you), but most of the time, he hates being distracted from his work. when donnie wants attention or affection, he will not ask for it. he'll slowly attempt to grab your attention, which is out of the blue for him- and that's when you realize that he is in need to love, and you initiate the affection :)

- prefers to ask for affection rather than initiate. the only cases when he initiates affection and attention is when you need it. he always sees you before himself and thinks of your needs over anything. of course, with an occasional slip in of science and technology here and there.

- favorite way to show off or receive affection: minimal physical touch. sometimes, he likes to lay his head down on your lap and just have you run your fingers over his eyes as a way to calm him down. he will initiate a bunch of kisses, though. be on the lookout! donnie likes to be complimented on his work and accomplishments, so a bit of verbal validation and some "i'm proud of you's" are greatly appreciated by him.

🟠 - MIKEY

- will certainly let you know when he wants love! if mikey is disappointed in any situation, you are his go to- and you know this. verbal and physical affection have always been mikey's way of expressing love; this just happens to be one of the things he needs when receiving attention or affections. like donnie, he likes to be verbally validated for his both accomplishments and anxieties.

- prefers to initiate rather than ask. mikey will always start slow. he'll start to love on you, and then personally ask you for some extra special affection.

- favorite way to show off or receive affection: mikey likes to show off his affection by giving kisses to you all over. this, in return, is also his favorite way to receive! he's also surprisingly good at giving massages.
