3.Puppy love

Author's pov

Jungkook and you were driving to BigHit, because you have to record a song and rehearse the dance for shooting its MV

The car ride was silent but you decided to break it. "Why are you acting like you just lost your vocals?"

"Huh? No, I was just concentrating on driving" he answered you.

"Whatever" you said. "Just so you know, I have to tell you something when- Stop the car!" you said suddenly, making Jungkook slam on the brakes and give you a 'What the hell?' look.

You removed your seatbelt and got out of the car, running towards the foot path.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked the empty seat, his words too slow as you were already halfway across the road.

So he just stayed in the car and decided to text Yami. Never mind. She didn't reply.

After a couple of minutes, you got inside the car holding a puppy with a broken and bleeding leg.

He didn't ask anything and just started to drive because he knew exactly what he had to do now.

Jungkook's pov

After 10 minutes of driving, I stopped in front of a vet's place while Y/n was trying to comfort a puppy. So precious. I wonder what I'm going to do with her once our kids are- "What the heaven are you thinking, Jeon Jungkook?! You have a girlfriend!" the devil inside me shouted.

"But Y/n is your wife, Jungkook" the angel inside me said back.

And then my devil and my angel started debating inside my head until I completely decided to shake off the thoughts, getting to the vet who treated the puppy.

After getting in the car again, she told me to drive to the place where we found the puppy so that we could see if it's mommy is there. If not, she would bring him or her with us.

We drove to the place to find no other dogs. So, we have a new housemate.

And finally, we drove to BigHit where Jennie was running towards Y/n as soon as she got out of the car.

Author's pov

"Rose!" the excited person ran towards you to give you a hug.

You handed the puppy to Jungkook and ran towards Jennie too, seemingly with the intention of hugging her.

But instead, you went the other way and hugged a huge teddy bear Jennie was holding.

"You cheater!" Jennie aka your Jack shouted at you with an angry yet cute face.

"I'm not" you answered.

"You are. You just cheated on me with my boyfriend!"

"Remember that I'm the who gifted you this boyfriend" you said while still hugging the teddy bear.

Jungkook's pov

If I had seen her before meeting Yami, I swear to god I would've dated her- WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?!

Suddenly, Jennie ran towards me and the puppy I was holding, pulling Y/n along with her teddy bear.

"Is he a she or is she a he?" Jennie asked no one in common.

"I don't know" Y/n answered.

"Then check" Jennie told.

"I can't" she said back.

"Why?"

"What if she is a he?"

"He or she is just a puppy."

"No. Respect one's privacy."

"C'mon. Don't act like you're gonna see your husband naked."

I stare at both of them, trying not to blush.

"Yah!" Y/n knocked Jennie's head and turned to me "Can you do it, Kookie?"

I liked the nickname she gave me. I nodded my head and when I was about to lift the puppy's leg, she turned around to not see the puppy.

"A boy" I announced and Y/n turned around, almost smacking her friend on the head again.

"Are you insane?" Jennie asked her in disbelief.

"No. I'm Y/n" she answered while taking the puppy in her arms. "I don't want your teddy anymore. I got myself a boyfriend."

"What if he was a she?" Jennie asked.

"Then, she would've been Jungkook's girlfriend" she answered while caressing the puppy's head and smiling. But suddenly, her smile disappeared.

She handed over the puppy to Jennie. "We're late already. Come let's go" she said and walked away.

I sighed and thought that it must be because she mentioned that if he was a she, the puppy would've been my girlfriend. It would've reminded her about Yami.

How much drama on her birthday? No one seems to remember her birthday except for Jennie.

I just decided to walk to the recording room and sit in there.
