Veronica pov:

As day goes by napapansin ko na nagiging cold sila mom and dad actually they are being cold towards each other lalo na si mommy everytime na dad will kiss her sa forehead as a sign of goodbye

It's like pilit and mommy will always froze or like pilit na smile and yes I notice all of this nung umuwi ako galing US

One night late nang umuwi si dad and I was getting water from the kitchen and it's already past midnight na then I heard someone come inside from the front door sumilip ako sa pinto sa kitchen and there I saw dad na parang I don't know how to explain

I saw him na yung necktie niya di naka ayos and there's this red paint or something in her face lalo na sa bibig and neck niya and then I saw mommy na pababa ng stairs she went to dad and they are seriously talking Hindi ko na iyon nadinig kase baka makita pa ako 

Napapansin ko din na late nang umuuwi every night si dad how did I know this because I always wake up at past midnight to get food downstairs and minsan umaga na pag umuuwi si dad I always ask him how is he and bakit siya umaga na pag umuuwi but he always said na dahil la iyon sa work

I'm starting to to wonder why they are giving the cold treatment to each other and Hindi pa din maalis sa isip ko yung nakita ko sa bar

That night and dumagdag pa sa mga iniisip ko nung umaga na nang umuwi si dad that kept me wondering kung saan ba siya nang gagaling and hindi ba napapansin ni mom yun pero impossible naman yun

'What if I'll investigate it's not snooping isn't it' I said to myself my thoughts were interrupted when mama Imee spoke

"kanina ka pa naka tulala Veronica is something bothering you" she asked

"nothing mama I'm just wondering what university to go to" I lied

"oh is that so well what course do you want to take ba" she queried

"I was thinking law but I want to join public service po and I want to study about business na din po so I have a knowledge about the company" I said

"do you want to enter politics someday Eirene" she asked

Well now I'm thinking about it I didn't dream to be a politician besides mommy and mamita will not agree for me to join politics but there's this part of me who wants to join public service I know naman na hindi lang pag sali sa politics ka makaka tulong sa mga Tao but I'm still thinking about it

"I don't know yet mama but mommy and mamita will not agree for me to join politics kase it's too dangerous for me daw" I said

"yeah I know that beside Hindi lang Naman pagsali sa politics ka makaka tulong sa mga Tao" she said "well you are right naman po" I said

"pero kung gusto mo talagang sumali sa politics I will be here to support you on your decision 'nak" she said and reassures me with her smile

"thank you ma" I said "no problem oh siya mauna na ako tomorrow will be our bonding ha don't forget about it mi amor" she said "I won't ma and ingat" I said and smiled at her and she went out na

Nakita ko namang pumasok si mamita sa house galing sa garden and she joined me here sa sofa I want to ask her about kila mommy kung ano bang nangyayare sa kanila kase nung umalis kami nila kuya ay okay pa naman sila so saka lang sila siguro naging ganon nung umalis kami

"mamita can I ask po" I said "yes of course what is it Eirene" she said "what happened ba talaga Kila mommy and daddy" I asked
