'Cliff....' There stood before me my partner.
'Hey Cee long time no see..' He leaned in for for a kiss, without batting a eyelid I leaned in and we kissed for what felt like forever. I never wanted it to end.
His lips didn't feel...solid they were cold and ghostly. We pulled away and he looked into my optics. His were filled with regret and sadness.
'Your not scared or shocked to see me?'
' I don't know what I'm feeling' I whispered shaking me head, I couldn't believe this 'Cliff..your-'
'Back?' He smirked I couldn't help but giggle a bit.
'No..I mean..alive....sorta'
'Well this isn't exactly my solid form cee' he laughed as he pulled me in for long passionate hug.
'Why..how are you back you died.....twice!'
'Well Primus came up to me one day and showed me a picture of you on this cliff talking to your self' I felt my cheeks burn bright red 'you looked so sad and helpless so Primus said we could have ONE hour together...I just need to talk to you Cee'
'Sit' I said walking to the edge of the cliff and sat with my legs over the side. He walked over and joined me. I didn't look at him but could feel he was looking at me.
'What are you doing Cee?....you need to move on....I know how you feel I really do....but you can't keep mourning over the past' I sighed and looked at my peds.
' I want to..I really do but I just-'
'I know you Cee...you may not show it but you need someone to be there for you...don't push him away!' I knew who he meant.
'Push who away?' I looked away.
'......bee.....' He pulled my head to look at him straight into his optics 'I see how you are around him...he fills that whole in your spark that I can't anymore..' He put his servo were my spark was.
'But Cliff I-' he put his digit on my lip.
'Need him I know' he laughed.
We talked and laughed about times before the war,
'Cee...I gotta go..... and so have you' I felt a tear roll down my cheek as he faded 'he will protect you.....'
He was gone......
'Cliff...' I whispered as he disappeared back to the well where I will join him one day 'your right....your always right. I need to move on...I need Bee..' I stared into space for a few seconds before standing up and over looked the desert plains.
'Cee I need you to..' Came from the scout that's been standing beside me whole life, I just hadn't realised. I turned around to face him and my tears went away and a smile appeared......
