Knock knockYou were barely starting to wake up, when you heard those knocks. Barely morning. You got up from your bed, and headed to do the door.
Knock knock
"I'm coming," you said, you opened the door.
And you saw victor, Tewkesbury's brother. You expected to see your mom or dad visiting.
"What the bloody hell?! Aren't you and your brother in northern-"
"I know I know." Victor said.
"You've grown." You said.
He smiled.
"Y/N."
"How did you get there victor?"
"A cab, of course. We moved back." He said and smiled.
"Oh." You said.
"Well...how's Tewkesbury." You added. You crossed your arms. "How is he with his wife?" You said, you felt like crying. You hadn't gone over it.
"Please don't cry y/n. I know it hurt." Victor said.
"Well spill it victor. Why'd you come here for?"
"It's about Tewksbury."

Tewkesbury, and you were friends since forever.
Sure perhaps there were some small percentage of romance, here and there. Flirting you might say, you had mixed feelings for him. You weren't so sure if he had feelings for you back. Or if he had mixed feelings for you to. You've just been friends for 3 years. But you knew him enough to know how he was. You were able to describe him pretty well.
Victor, Victor is Tewkesbury's brother. Younger brother. He's very different from Tewkesbury. He wasn't a huge admirer of flowers. And had more of a funny side to him.
He knew you liked Tewkesbury, unlike Tewkesbury, Victor wasn't oblivious to it. And he supported it. But he'd make fun of you for it————————————————————————
1 month ago- past (may 1983)"So you're asking me how long I was gone for?"
He asked.
"Well...yeah basically yes. I'm asking you how long you were gone for." You said.
"You didn't count the days I was gone for? Did you not miss me?" He said and smiled.
"You're happy that I didn't miss you? How odd Tewkesbury." You told him, directly looking at his eyes.
He took his hat off.
"I missed you, you know?" He said."You're a great friend to me so you know I figured you'd miss me. As much as I missed you." Tewkesbury said.
"Tewkesbury! Of course I missed you. Why wouldn't I?" You said and smiled.
He smiled back.
"Anyways how was your trip?" You asked.
"Very well, honestly I thought it was pretty wicked. I went there for work purposes. You know. We discussed about crops for next year. And in terms of politics...I've been trying to fight for a bill. It's a work in process." He said."You need a break Tewkesbury."
There was a silence for a second. He looked down at the floor.
"It's good you keep fighting tewkesbury. Fighting for the good. It's what makes you, you, Tewkesbury. Lord tewkesbury marquess of Basilwether. How nice?" You said and smiled at him.
"Oh well. I'm flattered then." He gave a small smile back at you."You're welcome Tewkesbury."
He stopped smiling, seem to broke of it.As if he didn't want to act too smiley.
Odd.
Was he more closed off now?"Why'd you stop smiling so quickly Tewkesbury?"
"Nothing serious...i...I just remembered I have stuff to do. I'll see you later." He said. And gave a small smile. "Yeah see you later..." you said. And right when he walked passed you. You had the biggest smile.
The only thing you were feeling now.
Were butterflies.
Your heart began to beating and beating faster.
The thought of him talking to you made you happy.

Tewkesbury's POV"You saw y/n today?" Victor had asked me.
"Yes," I replied with. "Fantastic? Then? What's the problem tewksy?" Victor said and laughed. "Don't call me that? What's the matter with you?" I said. Never liked that nickname. Makes me seem more like a little boy rather than a man. It wiped victors smile off his face.
"You know I have mixed feelings about y/n.
Y/N's been our friend for-"
"3 years? So what. You don't see y/n like family and neither do I. Ask William. I'm sure he doesn't see y/n like family either. Or ask Enola?"
"Enola sees y/n as family what are you talking about. You're talking nonsense alright?" I said.
Victor had been leaning against the wall near my drawer. With his arms crossed.
"What's up with you?" He said and looked straight at me this time. He quit leaning against my wall, and walked straight to the door. Before he reached for where his coat and hat was, he did had turned to look at me.
"Try to think about it. Your feelings for
Y/N. Before we.."
"Yes I know Victor." I said.
"...later. And make sure you don't forget to
Water your pla-
"Yes I know their my plants?"
"Right."
Victor then took his coat and hat. And left.
I wasn't so sure about my feelings for y/n.
I used to have a small crush on y/n, in the beginning of our friendship. But it faded away. And I don't get why when we're leaving town, they come back? My feelings.
But this time the feelings were mixed feelings?
