Damien's POV:
I was chained up and had very little water and hardly any food. These people have been forcing me to train and do things that no mere kid is able to do. My parents have been trying to get me out of this forsaken place, but they failed each time.

'Kid, I'm sorry to have done this to you.' Kage's voice said in my head. 'You're the only one, besides my parents who care about me, Kage. But why let yourself get sealed inside me?' I asked him.

'My father entrusted me with a mission many centuries ago. To find one day the one who is worthy of my power and my father's visual prowess. You hold that potential within you. But these Rogue Shinobi of the Stone hinder your training.' Kage said. I nodded my head in response to his statement. 'I just want to be with my parents and leave this forsaken place.' I told him as tears rolled down my face.

Every day they would have me train and do things that I am not ready to do yet. If I were unable to do what they want, they would beat me to within an inch of my life and not feed me at all. If it weren't for Kage's chakra constantly healing me and giving me strength, I would have died months ago. "Please... someone... help me." I said hoarsely as my voice came out rough and ragged.

I then heard someone coming and I tried to hide but I was chained to the ground and I was afraid. "I can't believe they would do this. All because they think gramps is leading us to ruin." A voice said as I opened my eyes and saw a girl about a year older than me since I was only four years old. She saw me and the state I was in and tried to reach her hand out to me but I backed away. "Please... no more." I said with fear and tears in my eyes.

She stopped and sighed, "This isn't right. You're only a year younger than me, and you're being forced to do these awful things. I promise I'll do what I can to help you. Here, you need your strength." She said as she handed me food and water.

I looked at it cautiously before taking it and immediately started to devour the food. "Take it easy, you'll choke." She said. I stopped and looked at her, "Thank... you." I said softly.

The girl looked behind her and then back at me, "I have to go and get back to the village. I swear I'll try and save you from this prison. I'm Kurotsuchi by the way. But you can call me, Kuro." Kuro said as she smiled, "Damien Silver." I said.

Kuro nodded her head and saw my wolf tattoo on my left arm, "You like wolves?" she asked. I nodded my head and she smiled, "Alright, I'll be back soon. I promise." Kuro said as she vanished and the guards saw me with my head lowered. "Time to train. Stupid brat." One of the guards said.

They unlocked my chains and took me to where I was trained for the last year after they sealed Kage in me when I was two. "Let us continue your training." The elder said with a wicked smile on his face.

'Damien, just hold on a little longer. Your parents will save you. I guarantee it.' Kage told me as I went on with the training that I hated doing. If it weren't for Kage, I wouldn't have become strong of mind. But even then, they have their ways of getting to me.

|Time Skip: One Year Later|

Damien's POV:
It's been a a year and a half since I was forced to become Kage's Jinchuriki. But he and I became friends. Kage isn't what these people think he is. He isn't a monster or a weapon, he's a great being that wants to protect this world.

'Damien, it's been a year since your training became more difficult. I am sorry for that.' Kage told me. "It isn't your fault, Kage. These people don't see you as I do. But I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. I want my mom and dad." I said as a tear rolled down my face.

I heard someone coming and saw Kuro as she opened the cell and walked over to me. "Sorry I was gone so long. My gramps needed intel about these rogue ninja from our village." Kuro said as she took out a box and opened it to reveal a yin-yang necklace with two separate chains connecting to the two halves.
