It's no secret that there were Crocodilians in Europe during prehistoric times, including the Miocene. But a sudden change in events had occurred. All of a sudden, 5 distinct, but recognizable, Crocodilians live in the Wetlands of Symkaria. It is unknown as to how these 5 Crocodilians managed to survive in the Symkarian Wild. Here are the 5 Symkarian native Crocodilians.

Crocodilian #1: Symkarian Crocodile.

Superfamily: Crocodyloidea.

Family: Crocodylidae.

Clade: Longirostres.

Subfamily: Crocodylinae.

Genus: Crocodylus.

Scientific Name: Crocodylus saranicus. Sometimes called Crocodylus Niloticus Saranicus due to the striking resemblance it has with the Nile Crocodile.

Ancestor: Unknown. Suspected that either a prehistoric population of Nile Crocodiles may have gone further north when the weather was warmer or an unknown species of Crocodile might've evolved in Symkaria and learned to adapt and thrive in its environment.

Habitat Preference: Brackish Streams, Fast-flowing Rivers, Slow-Moving Rivers, Shrub Swamps, Tidal Lakes, Estuaries, Flooded Grasslands & Savannahs, and Marshes. In other words, the Symkarian Crocodiles preferred to live in open, broad bodies of water.

Population Number: Unknown but healthy.

Coloration: Varies. Relative to environment.

Length (Male): Varies. The largest being around 29 feet.

Length (Female): Varies. The largest female being 12 feet.

Food Items: Gomphotherium, Stegodon, Palaeoloxodon, European Water Buffalo, European Hippopotamus, European Lowland Bison, Pythons, Eurasian Aurochs, Eurasian Wildebeest, Turtles, Amphibians, Birds, Large Fish, other Snakes, smaller Crocodilians, Wild Highland Cattle, European Wild Horse, Toro Bravo.

Mating Season: Late Winter to Early Spring.

Scientific Name: Alligator karinorus.

Ancestor: Unknown.

Habitat Preference: Freshwater, Slow-Moving Rivers, Swamps, Marshes, and Lakes, Flooded Grasslands & Savannahs.

Population Number: Unknown but healthy.

Coloration: Dark Gray with a lighter color underside.

Length (Male): Varies. The largest male being around 20 feet.
