"It's so cold" she'd shiver while waiting for the bus
I'd sit on the bench gazing up to the sky my eyes hazy with tiredness. Only to turn my gaze over to the seat beside me where he sat. Suddenly the noisy city fell silent and all I could hear was my heart pounding. His eyes fell upon me with a small smile appearing on his face. It was at that moment when I suddenly came back to real life and suddenly the silence was drowned by the sound of rain.
"Ah jeez how am I meant to get home now I knew I should've packed an umbrella" she'd said while reaching her hand out from under the bus stop shelter feeling the cold rain hit her palm.
Suddenly she heard a laugh to the left of her, it was him. Raven black hair the most charming smile.
"Have mine,I don't live far from the bus stop you probably need it more." He'd look at her extending his arm out with an umbrella in hand.
"A-ah it's fine really!" She nervously said in response.
"How about you buy me a coffee sometime to make up for it?" He'd said with a smile
"At least tell me your name first" she said flustered at the obvious flirting
"Ladies first" he said smiling
"It's Areum, now what's yours mystery boy" She laughed
"It's a mystery" he said trying to stop himself from laughing "how about I'll tell you if you go out for coffee with me tomorrow?"
She looked up to see the bus approaching "I'll take you up on that offer" she handed him a piece of paper with her number on it and got up to get on the bus "I'll see you tomorrow then?"
"Yeah" he watched her getting on the bus with a smile waving goodbye to her as the bus left the stop. He looked down to see the piece of paper containing her numbers and carefully put it in his pocket. He looked down beside him only to see her phone left on the bench unlocked. He picked it up and started walking to the police station.he kept walking till he reached it and handed it in.
Areums pov:
"Wait where's my phone" she said while rummaging through her bags realising she'd left it at the bus stop she pinged the button and ran off the bus luckily she was only a few stops away
She walked closer to the bus stop when a sudden flash of headlights "What the-" then it all went black. The faint sounds of sirens the cold feeling spread around my body numbness I'd never felt before in my life. My body wouldn't listen to me I felt helpless in a void of cold and bitter darkness. I wanted to shout help me but my voice wouldn't come out.....
