(Soukoku, 17 years old.)
The table buzzed as they sat back in the corner of a room. There was a Port Mafia meeting happening, a very important meeting. The two boys stayed seated as they watched the adults run back and forth with claims on how the Mafia was doing. Chuuya and Dazai had finished their part of the meeting where Chuuya spoke of how well the income from jewelry heists was going, shocking some present in the room and Dazai spoke about the Mafia members' training and got his plan approved from Mori to continue with the current training programme.
After they'd finished, no one bothered to look at them for the rest of that night, so they did what any pair of teenagers would do. Move to the back of the room and play rock, paper, scissors. They shook their hands in a three, two, one motion and each time they hit one one of the three iconic weapons. The first few rounds were evenly matched, Chuuya would win one round or two then Dazai would win. That's how it was until they had almost twenty matches. At that point, Dazai began to notice a pattern in the way Chuuya's hands moved right before he made his move. His hand would widen slightly if he was about to make paper, the same went for scissors, so it was a 50/50. If Chuuya's hand stayed very still it would be rock. That gave Dazai an advantage and led him to win more rounds than Chuuya. He only lost when he started realizing that Chuuya had found out what he was doing and began making his plays really random.
They kept playing in the corner until Chuuya felt a tap at his shoulder. He turned around to see who it was but was stopped by a hand slamming into his own. Before turning around he had made the move rock with his hands that made a perfect opening for Dazai to change his pair of scissors into some paper and slap Chuuya's hand.
"Aha! I won."
"We aren't even counting the matches anymore, what do you mean 'YoU wOn'."
"You got distracted. Now the game's over."
"That's bull, you're just upset I found out your little tricks eight matches into it."
"Meh.". Dazai slouched down into his chair and looked up at the person who tapped Chuuya's shoulder. It was Kouyou. She was trying to call them out of the room because the members began to hear Dazai and Chuuya's muttering, but her calling wasn't heard. The boys went into their little world, just an endless three, two, one.
"Are you two gonna go and play, or pay attention."
"I'm paying great attention." Dazai said as he sat up quickly.
"Okay. Tell me what you heard in the past twenty minutes, both of you.". Kouyou crossed her arms awaiting an explanation. Dazai didn't hesitate to explain the first ten minutes of it, then passed it to Chuuya. Chuuya, who was also paying close attention with one ear. He kept the other on the game they'd been playing. He explained his half in almost as much detail as Dazai had with the first. Some of the people at the table didn't move, they were a little shocked, but that's what is expected of the two youngest executives. Just because they're playing a game doesn't mean they're not paying some form of attention to anything important. However the game got heated to a point where neither of them heard Kouyou calling them.
