We got a timestamp. That's good, right? Well anyways, about the station plan I mentioned in the last update? Here's how that went.We started Reggie up and began to move him out of the shed. The trucks pleaded for us to take them with us, but we couldn't. Reggie just told them to sit tight and wait a few hours. After that Reggie headed out of the sidings and onto the line. We went a good distance before reggie's water was beginning to run low.
We decided to fill him up at the next water tower we passed by. Thankfully a water tower was close by and we filled Reggie's tanks. While refilling Reggie, we heard a low rumbling sound before a diesel passed by us blasting his horn. The diesel shot by us like a rocket, screaming like a banshee. Reggie was horrified to see Andy, the railway's amtrak passenger diesel, fly past us while screaming bloody murder. To say that was a scary encounter would be a bit of an understatement.... But that didn't change our minds. We were still heading to the station wether we liked it or not.We continued to head down the line. Reggie was silent the whole time, and I don't blame him. He literally saw one of his own friends mutilated and in pain. We soon got to the station and stopped Reggie outside the platform.
The place was silent, say for a few faint songs on the intercom. The place was a ghost town, not a single person in sight. It was almost frightening to us.. but we knew we had to look around. We didn't find much besides a few sticks and snacks and water from the Cafe. We put them in a bag and headed back to Reggie. To our surprise Reggie was smiling. At first we didn't know why until we stepped out.
Waiting on the track next to Reggie was Boris, the railway's lumber locomotive. Reggie was beaming from buffer to buffer at the sight of one of his friends being ok. Boris shared the same energy, greeting us with a warm smile. Reggie told us that Boris had come when we were in the station. At first the two engines stared before they began to talk to each other. Boris said he was traveling from the lumber yard when everything went down. He said he was too busy to go near the bay for the celebrations, so he only knew shit went down via an eas alert. For the rest of the day, Boris stayed in the lumber yard. He stayed there for the morning as well before deciding to go looking for any of his friends or other engines. Reggie explained his side of the story as the two began to reverse back to the sheds we were previously at. We're still reversing down the line, so I'll have to update this when we get back to the sheds.

Ok so something is wrong. The trucks are missing. I have no idea how or why but they're just... gone. There's literally nothing in the siding. All that's there is the brakevan. That's all that's left in the siding. Upon closer inspection we noticed the coupling to the brakevan's bufferbeam was broken, almost like whatever took the trucks just yanked them out of the siding forcefully.
Whatever happened to the trucks, we may never know. But either way, we need to make a plan.July 5th 11:43 PM
We put boris into a siding next to Reggie and went with boris's crew into the signalbox. We had a few snacks we brought from the station as we shared our findings. The signalman told us he heard on the radio that the bay was now closed off, and that the virus was spreading. We knew we couldn't go to the bay (yet) so we decided to try and head to the fueling depot to check for any survivors or supplies. After that we'll camp there for a while before heading to the main engine shed. That's all we have planned for now. We don't know where else to check, but that can change before or after our journey.
The rest of the day was spent talking with one another, trying to pass the time. Anyways it's getting late, and everyone else is asleep. I made sure to check on Reggie and Boris before going to sleep. I'll update this again once something happens.
