Pagka baba ni Mr. Ruego sa sasakyan, agad syang pumasok sa bahay habang pina-park ng Mang Tony ang sasakyan sa kanilang garahe.

Mr. Ruego: I'm home!

Kelly: Daaad! Heeey! I missed you! How's work?

Mr. Ruego: Everything's fine. I'd like to know more about you. How's US? Teka, is Celestine here yet?

Cee Cee: here. Just now.

Nagka tinginan ang magkapatid at halatang cold ang mga ito sa isat isa.

Kelly: Hi -.. sis.

Cee Cee: What's for dinner? I feel like I'm hungry na nga. Hi Tita Sands.. ( sabay kiss sa Tita Sandy nia at deretchong naupo sa hapag. Hindi pinansin ang kapatid at npangiti na lang si Kelly at si Mr Ruego )

  Sabay na na upos sina Mr Ruego at Kelly habang si Cee Cee ay tahimik lan at  nanunood habang nilalagay ng mga katulong ang mga pagkain.

Mr. Ruego: Business is doing really good. I'm planning to expand pa sa mga provinces abd probably abroad. Ive talked to Mr. Sy and he's planning to partner with me for a hotel in Singapore.

Kelly: that's good, Dad! Congratulations. Haha you know Hotel industry is really growing fast these days. Specially now that the tourism industry is back to normal na.

Mr. Ruego. That's right. How's New York pala? I remember you mentioned the last time we talk na someone's into you. Hahaha is he that good looking na nakuha nia your attention?

Kelly: Daaaad! Haha ano kba?

Tita Sandy: really? That's interesting Kells, i wanna know more!

Kelly: well, actually. I'm supposed to tell you this after dinner na wine, Dad. Peroo since you guys asked na. Well, I'm engaged!

Tita Sandy: oh my God?! Is that true? Let me see your ring. Wooow!

Kelly: Dad?

Mr. Ruego: hmm.. I can say that you really are no longer a baby. Haha when can we meet him?

Kelly: gosh! I thought you'll get mad for the surprise Dad but im so glad you're okay with it.

Mr. Ruego: why would I get mad? You're not getting any younger, Kells. You deserve it. I support you in any way I can. I'm happy for you.

Tita Sandy: me too! ( Teary eyes)

At sabay silang tumingin kay Cee Cee habang tahimik lang itong kumakain.

Kelly: how about you sis?

Cee Cee: what?

Kelly: I'd like to ask for your help sa preparation and all. I know kase na you're really good-

Cee Cee: you can an organizer or coordinator for it.  I have a lot going on with my life and I dont  think none of you is ever interested. Congratulations to you.

Sabay tumayo si Cee Cee at naglakad papunta sa kanyang kwarto. Ni lock ang pinto at umiyak sa  kama. Naiwan sina Mr Ruego, Tita Sandy at Kelly sa mesa na medjo nalungkot.

Mr. Ruego: I really don't understand how your sister seems so off as she gets old. She's been acting up lately and I dont know what else to do. Binibigay ki nman ata everything she needs.

Tita Sandy: ive tried talking to her din and she just dont wanna say anything. I miss the day when she was so sweet and clingy.

Kelly: maybe it's my fault. She doesn't want me to go for New York because she said na mag isa na lang daw sha dito. She felt like I left her hanging all alone.
That's okay Dad. I'll talk to her na lang some other time.

Napa buntong hininga na lang si Mr. Ruego at tinaposs ang kanyang pagkain..
