Journal Entry No. 8
October 19, 2017
This journal entry will be different from the others.
I am doing this in concurrent with my observational session with LoReLeI. In layman's terms, I will be detailing in real time everything.
There is a safe distance between us of course. I always make sure to check that.
She's smiling at her own journal.
Yes, she's also currently writing. We decided to spend this time in silence and just let nature and the silence take its course around us.
I wonder what she is writing about.
If I will indulge my silly thoughts.
It might be about me.
Oh, she's slightly frowning her pale lips.
Why is it pale? Why is she so focused?
What is she writi
(The pen froze in the middle of writing)
She told me my stare was too obvious. She was teasing how I find her too attractive therefore I can't remove my gaze.
And then she laughed. That kind of laugh that could make the gray clouds feel ashamed as they slowly clear the skies to make way for the sun's gentle radiant sunlight.
It's also the kind of laugh that could rival the sounds of nature itself, air warm and leaves fluttering as if she is wind itself sailing through the trees.
(Momentary pause)
Huh.
I'm not the kind of person who could simply wax poetic on someone. I've no potential as a poet, none.
However, maybe because it's her, it went too easy.

He chuckled.
"Is that how you really write, Luthor?" Amusement creeped up to LoReLeI as she eyed him. And then she frowned. "You're not writing something silly about me, are you?"
The small smile never left his face as Luthor slightly shook his head. "No worries, I was laughing about myself." He dusted the end of his pants when it caught dust from sitting too long in their gray picnic blanket.
"So, you find yourself funny," LoReLeI returned her attention on her diary journal. She snickered. "And here I thought you won't visit me again with the way you said goodbye last week."
The smile on Luthor's face faltered before it slowly vanished. He looked at the observation journal in his hands before he returned them to her.
"My younger brother asked me not to go back."
A bird chirped behind them. It flapped it's wings and flew.
"Oh," was her reply. There was quite a lengthy silence before she spoke again. "Why did you come back then?"
