Vance:
Bruce looked up at Vance in shock. "It's fine if you don't like me back!" Vance rushed to say. "And please don't let it effect our friendship!" Bruce shook his head looking at the ground. "Shut up" Bruce said.

"What?" Vance looked at him with confusion. "I said stop talking" Bruce grumbled. Vance assumed that was a no and nodded. He stopped talking. They continued to walk in silence till they got near the baseball field.

Vance watch Bruce sit up in the bleachers, Vance didn't know what to do, he didn't know if Bruce was angry of not. "Come sit down" Bruce said, patting the spot next to him. Vance awkwardly sat down, confused.

"Say it again" Bruce said. "What?" Vance felt very confused. "You like me right?" Bruce asked, looking over at him. "Yeah I like you" vance felt very confused.

Bruce seemed to break out into a laugh. Was Bruce making fun of Vance. "Oh God and to think I was scared to ask you out" Bruce laughed. Vance froze. Bruce liked him back. "You like me?" Vance asked. Bruce looked him in the eyes. "Yeah vance Hopper " Bruce nodded. "I like you"

Vance felt overwhelmed with joy, he watched as Bruce got closer, Vance couldn't help notice how soft his lips looked. Vance closed his eyes as their lips connected. It was nice.
Bruce pulled away a while after, they looked at each other before the two broke out laughing.

**Time skip

Bruce:
The two walked back home together, closer than they we're before. "Does this mean we're dating now?" Vance asked as they came near the house. "I supposed it does" Bruce smiled. "Does this mean I can touch your hair now?" Bruce asked, they walked up the porch steps. "I think I'd let you" Vance nodded. "If it means I can play with your hair"

Bruce nodded in agreement as they walked inside. "Hey mom" Bruce greeted. "You two look in a better mood" mom said smiling. Vances mom nodding in agreement. "Hey I've never seen your room before" Vance said looking up the stairs. "Then I'll show it to you" Bruce smiled, he could tell the parents eyes were on them, Vance rushed up the stairs laughing, Bruce followed.

"Bruce sweetie" his mom called. Bruce stopped turning to look at her, she smiled softly, she seemed to have tears in her eyes. "You know I'll always love and support you" she smiled. "No matter what you choose in your life"

Bruce felt his heart tug. He had a feeling she knew, he glanced over at Vance's mom to see her smiling too. Bruce stepped off the stairs and walked over to his mom, embracing her in a hug. "Thank you mom" he whispered to her. "Vance is a good kid" she whispered back

They pulled away from each other. "I'm glad it's him" she said a little more louder, Bruce could hear Vance coming down the stairs and glanced back to look at him, he smiled at Bruce. "I knew you we're good News for my boy the day I met you" Vance's mom smiled, sipping her drink from her mug. Bruce looked behind him, seeing Vance's embarrassed face.

Bruce loved Vance. And Vance loved Bruce.

This is the end of the story! 😃 I'm so glad I finished it but some parts we're really sad to write 😭
But I thought I'd add a bit of acceptance and the beauty of it because I know a lot of lgbtq+ people don't have that support from their parents. ☹️
But I hope everyone knows they are always accepted somewhere! ❤️
