Click. The front door was now locked as Grillby returned to the bar. Sans was still atop his stool as Grillby sat next to him.
"Only one hour early, like you asked." Grillby sighed and Sans looked over, his face peeking out from behind his coat sleeve.
"You are so pale, Sans. You haven't even touched your food. This is unlike you. I don't expect you to open up, but I'm worried about you..." Grillby then took Sans' right hand in his. Since Grillby was on Sans' left and Sans' arms were crossed around his skull, Sans' right hand was the closest one. Sans look up at this and smiled.
"I'm just feeling a bit off, like I said..." Sans said this, but he knew Grillby looked right through this facade.
"You said it was your stomach, may I?" Grillby rested his other hand on Sans' ectobelly, causing Sans to blush as heat spread through his tummy. Sans almost moaned in relief as his stomach stopped feeling so achey. Grillby rubbed a few small circles on the soft blue organ until he suddenly stopped.
Grillby stammers as the flames atop his head flare up, "Sans- I'm sorry but I- I um..."
"Grillbz? You look like you just saw a ghost, you got a skeleton in your closet?" Sans weakly chuckled at his pun, but seeing how shocked Grillby is made him stop short and rest his hand on Grillby's bicep, "What's up?"
"I-I felt a source of magic... inside of you..." Grillby managed to speak.
"Yeah, my soul," Sans replied, causing Grillby to shake his head.
"No, no, no. I felt your soul and another, weaker, source..."
Sans sat up straight, now slightly scared, "Like a parasite?" He said trying to laugh it off but the fear was still present in his eyes.
Grillby sighed, "It was too strong for that," He let his gaze and mind wander until he finally came to a logical answer. "Sans... I think you have a child..."
Sans laughed, "Really Grillbz? I'm a man, you want me to prove it?" Sans went to unzip his pants.
"No Sans! Christ, listen..." Grillby stopped the skeleton from revealing himself and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Your a monster. You have no mother, that we know of, so how do we know that male skeletons can't get pregnant?"
"I guess your right... but who did I mate with in the first place?" Sans rubbed his stomach, which Grillby had stopped rubbing during the commotion.
"Does your stomach hurt?" Grillby asked, "Here, let me..." Sans was about to make a mental note of Grillby changing the subject, but then jolts of pure pleasure clouded his mind as Grillby softly stroked Sans' belly. With those slow, comforting, soft palms, Grillby soon had Sans hiding his face in Grillby's side as he moaned aloud. Grillby's head flame burned hotter as Sans kept moaning with each gentle stroke.
Grillby soon heard Sans' moans slowly quieten as they turned into soft snores. Knowing Sans was fast asleep, Grillby laid his head gently on the bar. After this he stood and went to the kitchen, a noticeable tent in his trousers.
He sighed and started to clean the plates and other dishes, his mind filled with the images of the moaning skeleton and his adorable little snores. It was no secret Grillby was in love with him... It was a secret, though, just how far he had gone with Sans before. Now he was staring the fruit of his idiocy square in the face. How could he not think of this outcome?! While male pregnancy is rare, it's not unheard of. Why didn't Grillby think of that before he tried anything?
"The poor guy was drunk out of his mind that night... you can’t expect me to just leave him there..." Grillby started to talk to himself, lost in his thoughts and his guilt. Now he was stuck with an even worse secret. A secret he had to tell. How would Sans react when he gave birth to a fire elemental?
"He wanted it Grillby... but he was intoxicated... He forced himself on me, but I could have stopped him... I didn't stop it. Why didn't I stop it?" Grillby put his head in his hands for a second. Was this rape? They both wanted it... Sans did consent but he wasn't in his right mind to make such a decision. Grillby had the power to make him stop, but he just let it happen. How could he have done this? Grillby sank to his knees on the floor, grief filling him. He had no right to feel this way towards the skeleton. Absolutely no right. He still couldn't stop. His heart was filled with love and care for this boy... but was it love he shown that night? Sans was drunk... Grillby was drunk off him. They both had so many things clouding thier better judgements... whose to say that night was filled with love? Sans didn't even remember it!
After 30 minutes the dishes were finished and the bar was cleaned. It was time to go home. Grillby walked back over to Sans. He smiled at the sleeping skeleton and slowly turned him around. Sans gave a weak groan at this as Grillby picked him up and cradled him against his chest.
"Sh... I got you... go back to sleep..." Grillby rubbed Sans' back as he walked back into the kitchen and into a side door which lead to his small cozy apartment. His small living room held a couch to his left, a fireplace and television to his right, and a kitchen right infront of him. The door to his bedroom was to the right of the couch. He walked through the door and sat Sans on the king-sized bed.
He slowly unzipped Sans' coat and pulled it off him before laying him down in bed. He pulled the covers over the skeleton, who instinctively curled up underneath the cozy warmth of the blankets. Grillby took off his clothing as well before putting on a more comfortable outfit, pajama shorts and a t-shirt. Grillby then sat next to him, rubbing his stomach slowly while he slept. Looking at the skeleton he loved so dearly, he was tortured by the fact that Sans would never see him the same way. Sans would just see him as another silly bartender... a close friend and nothing more.
Grillby laid down next to the skeleton and sighed. Suddenly Sans wrapped his arms around Grillby's middle, in his sleep, and hugged him close, causing Grillby's heart to swell with his adoration of the skeleton.
"Goodnight my pregnant boy... I love you..." Grillby whispered as he held Sans close and kissed him on the forehead. Soon he was fast asleep.
