Chapter 8- Her Fault

Frey's eyes almost bulged out from her sockets after seeing Azazel. So, it was him! He abducted her but why? Why would he do that? Did something happen between Zion & Azazel that the woman was asking about Zion continuously? Hundreds of questions started to emerge in her mind. 

Taking a few steps forward Azazel asked the woman," Didn't she reveal anything yet?"

" Not yet, boss," The woman answered lowering her head as if it was her failure. 

Losing his temper instantly he gripped Freya's face. Her pale skin turned red instantly and a few whimpers left her mouth. His terrorizing grey orbs met her horrified brown orbs making her tremble with fear. Azazel's eyes observed her from head to toe which was creepy for Freya at this moment. She couldn't be sure what he was thinking but she knew whatever he was thinking isn't going to be anything good for her. 

" I don't like raising my hands on women," Azazel breathed on Freya's face. " Just open your mouth like a good girl and I promise I will let you go. Where is your husband?" He asked sounding extremely calm. But, the calmness in his voice was indicating the threat he was imposing on her. 

She tilted her head," I swear I don't know anything. I am innocent." She cried out plaintively. 

He screamed in her face," Innocent!"

" I know how much innocent you are! For the last time, I am asking you where is that cunt?" he yanked her hair behind making her scream out. 

She yelled sobbing bitterly," I don't know anything. Please let me go. I am not understanding why are you asking me about my husband."

"Tsk...Tsk... I am not going to leave you until I get him in my clutch. And, about you?" He stopped saying and eyed her from head to toe. Freya shivered at his creepy look. Why was he looking as if he will eat her alive anytime soon? 

Grinning sheepishly he whispered in her ear," You are going to return me what was snatched from me."

Freya didn't know what was snatched from him. Most importantly what wrong she did to him that he was treating her like an animal. There were hundreds of questions in her mind but there was not a single answer to her questions. 

" What do you mean?" Freya managed to question between the hiccups. 

He murmured near her ear," You will return my child to me. My baby girl."

Saying that he groped the ham of her dress earning a horrified look from her. She shook her head vigorously while trying to free her hands. She pleaded with her eyes to show mercy but there wasn't anything in his eyes except anger, loathing and vengeance.   

" No," She screamed at the top of her lungs when he tore apart her dress exposing her undergarments. 

Azazel grabbed her bra to tear it apart while she cried plaintively," Please, don't. Don't rape me."

She raised those sorrowful innocent eyes at him. She was pleading with her eyes to not rape her. She hiccuped helplessly and tried to form some words but due to fear, she couldn't say anything. Except for a few unclear words nothing came out from her mouth.

Azazel halted whatever he was planning to do. He took a few good seconds to observe her. Those pleading eyes, tear-stained cheeks, tangled hair and that stiff body reminded him about Cynthia. She might have pleaded in front of Zion just like Freya was pleading in front of Azazel. For a few seconds, Azazel saw a glimpse of Cynthia in Freya that made him question what the hell he was going to do. How his anger blinded him for revenge!

If he rapes Freya then will there be any difference left between Zion and him? 

Azazel withdrew his hands hurriedly and took off his eyes from her since she was half naked. He turned his back on her which was astounding for Freya but she thanked God for saving her from rape. She didn't want to go through the same torture Zion inflicted on her.

Azazel went near that woman and whispered in her ear," Do whatever you want to do, Selena."

" I won't mind even if you break some of her bones. I just want information about Zion. Fetch me that at any cost," he clenched his jaw.

Selena bowed her head a little bit," As you say, Sir."

A few hours later

Standing in front of the window Azazel was staring outside having a painful expression on his face. The horrible sight of Cynthia's dead body and the doctor's words kept repeating inside his mind continuously. He was still in disbelief that his Cynthia was no more. A lone tear escaped his right eye which he wiped away hurriedly with the back of his hands. 

At this moment, life was feeling meaningless to him. He was breathing just for his son Aron. Letting out a sigh he looked behind to see his poor boy sleeping on the bed with a tear-stained face. Azazel's heart twisted inside his chest after seeing that poor boy.

" I am sorry, son." Azazel apologized.

Azazel's concentration on Aron was interrupted by a knock at the door. He went to the door hurriedly and opened it. He didn't want Aron to wake up and start crying again. Seeing Selena at the door, Azazel came outside the room.

" So?" Azazel questioned raising one of his brows.

Selena sounded guilty," Sir, I tried my best but she kept chanting only one thing that she knows nothing."

" Dammit!" Azazel kicked the nearby wall because of frustration.

Selena added hesitatingly," Sir, I think she is innocent."

She took a few steps backwards watching his death glare," I mean she seemed innocent to me. Moreover, she was firm in her words even after all those punches and kicks in her gut. If she was guilty for real then she wouldn't have endured all the punches till the end. She would have spilled out everything."

" Or she is too loyal to her husband," Azazel snapped at Selena.

Azazel was frustrated beyond level and the pain inside him was making everything worse. Until he gets Zion in his clutch, he won't feel a single ounce of peace.

" Sir, though she didn't say anything about her husband's whereabouts she said something which was unusual," Selena said making Azazel frown his brows.

He sounded suspicious," What do you mean?"

" She said that her husband Zion and Mrs Kingstone were having an affair," Selena managed to utter with great difficulty because she was afraid of facing Azazel's wrath.

Azazel seemed astonished but he didn't ask anything to Selena again. He ran towards the basement of his house where Freya was. Entering the basement he rushed at Freya. He grabbed her arms tightly.

" What did you mean? What do you know?" Azazel shook Freya vigorously but there was no response from her as if she was dead.

Soon he realized that Freya has passed out because of the tortures bestowed upon her. Taking a good look at her, he couldn't be sure how he felt.

She was bleeding from everywhere specifically her nose. Her lips were busted open and those blue and purple bruises all over her body were indicating what kind of brutality she had gone through. 

Azazel diverted his eyes from her and called a doctor who was none other than one of his friends. He called the doctor not because he was concerned about Freya. He called the doctor because he needed answers from Freya.

As far as he remembers Cynthia doesn't even know Zion then why did Freya say that Zion and Cynthia were having an affair? What the hell was going on?
